Stephanie, do you think glute isolation exercises to wrap up your leg day (glute day) are necessary?
Honestly, bulking was the first road I took when I started my fitness journey (I bulked for 1.5 years) and without it, I don't think I could have possibly achieved the physique I have now. I gained incredible amounts of strength and I have to say that the biggest payoff was the fact that the longer I bulked and increased my strength..my maintenance calories continued to climb. My maintenance now is around 2,300 to 2,400 calories which means that as female, if I want to bulk again my bulking calories are set at around 3,000 or more. Which is FREAKING AWESOME. What female can eat 3,000+ calories a day and gain only minimal weight?? So remember that although you may feel like quitting the bulk based on appearance some days, it's worth it to see it though. I'm so happy for you deciding to embrace this journey...shoutout from another UA-camr from Europe! Best of luck.. Buena suerte! x

Make sure to progressively overload your muscles, so they have to work harder than they're used to..that means that you have to increase the reps with the weight you're using from session to session (but 12-15 reps max!) and also increase the weight you're using 💪 try also to workout in a lower rep range(5-8 reps with a really heavy weight) to build your strength 🤗 I also wouldn't recommend cardio more than 2 times per week because it don't really works out your muscles and strength + you don't loose fat..but if you want you can also try interval training or any kind of HIT..this a real fat burner I promise ❤ hope this was helpful for you. .good luck!
How tall are you ?
As someone who is about 40 lbs overweight, would you recommend bulking up my muscles or just cutting? I find cardio really dull, doing 1 hour a day and I often wonder if I should just bulk up and let my muscles slowly consume the bodyfat...
@@boot-strapper your muscles won't consume your fat, being overweight and doing a bulk is not a good idea, because fat gain will occur way more easily than muscle growth. You don't have to do hours of boring cardio, just eat in a calorie deficit and focus on being consistent and working hard with your weights. You can make some progress overload, even if you're on a deficit, and gain some muscle
Lysann Hey. I’m nearly 20 pounds underweight and recently I’ve been wanting to gain some muscle to be strong and to fill out my curves. Do you recommend I do 5-8 reps of a high weight? For the past couple weeks, I’ve been doing 10-12 of a medium weight to get my muscles used to lifting. But I’m ready to build some real muscle now. I’ve started increasing my calories (I don’t keep track but I’ve been trying to eat more in a meal) and I’m worried if I’m doing any of this correctly. If I increase the weight lower the reps, and increase my calories, will it help with muscle gain or will it all be fat gain?..

all the best luck Steph! I'm on my first bulk myself for two months after a few months of cutting till 16%BF and then maintaining for another few! Began with around 2200/1900 kcal on training and non training calories now up with 2700/2400 kcal and up 0.8kg, so the lean bulk is going quite fine :D

Hi Stephanie! I really enjoyed this video. I'm thinking of doing a bulk sometime this Fall and Winter season. I've been hesitant because the idea of purposefully gaining weight is a scary idea for me. Since, I've had a history of being overweight. But I'm at a point where I want to get stronger and build more muscle. So your video just gave me more motivation to go through with my bulk!

Love your videos! So informative. Question: I bought PE Science preworkout. I actually have the same exact ones you have in this video, pre-workout and high volume. I’m okay with the high volume but feel sick (dizzy and nauseous) with the pre-workout. Should I stop taking it all together or slowly build up tolerance? Thanks ❤️
Excited to watch more updates on your bulk, especially since I’m a few months into mine. I was curious about something Jeff said. I jumped my calories post show and went from 113lbs to 123lbs in about 3 months. However like Jeff said about gaining weight too quickly, I’ve gained a bit more fat than I had wanted. I want to continue bulking but I’d also like to lose a bit of the extra fat. Any advice? Do I just keep pushing my bulk and accept the extra fat until I’m ready to cut? Implement a quick mini cut? Or is there a way to tweak a bulk to undo some of the damage?

Iv been bulking for about 6 weeks now and I'm getting stronger. I was so weak and skinny before, doing lots of cardio and under eating, now I can do 10 proper push ups on my toes which iv never been able to do and I'm working on getting my first pull up! Feels so much better to let myself eat and get stronger! :)

I have always put my PEScience, regular protein, on mine but the last time I did they looks bad, full of lumps. There was too much water in them and probably too hot…
