  • This year's motto for my temperature blanket is KEEP IT SIMPLE. I've never been able to complete a temperature blanket and in this video I discuss a few reasons why I think that is and what I'm doing to finish a blanket this year!

I think you should make a pillow out of the 2022 blanket. It looks really cool.

Good idea! I think I’ve been so sad that it’s incomplete I didn’t even consider salvaging!😊

I just learned to crochet a few days before Christmas so of course the second project must be a temperature blanket for 2024.
I decided to use extremes; the low mid-day temperature for Jan, Feb, March, October, November & December and the high mid-day temperature for April - September.
BUT, I already have an idea for another one. For each month select an important date, like February is my father’s birthday month, and for the entire month I’ll use the historic temperatures for the year he was born. I haven’t actually written out all the months to see if I’ll have something for every month, nor how to choose the important milestone is a month has multiples, but it’s an idea….

There are websites with historic weather data so you can fill in missed dates. Keep a simple spreadsheet.
