I abhor the feeling of acrylic yarn but there are times a places for it so I really appreciate your reviews. They’re exactly what I want to know.
I'm enjoying your channel. I agree with the squeaky, crunchy, ick factor of some yarns. I have used a few so I avoid them. If it feels uncomfortable to use, it's a waste of money!

I am using Walmart Mainstays yarn to crochet a shawl I am making right now. I used it last summer to knit a baby blanket. The shawl is white. The blanket was white, grey, and hot pink. The Walmart yarn is a great price, soft, and easy to work with but the colors are very limited. If you notice I mentioned white in both projects. If you like white you can almost always get that color.
It just so happens that white works well in both of my projects. My blanket was white, grey, and hot pink because those are the colors my store had like them or not. I just loaded those skeins in my cart. The color decision was already made for me by the store and the clerk. Nice yarn, limited colors.
