Starting my 2024 Temperature Blanket | planning, my process, tips I've learned

Another year done means getting to start another temperature blanket! I'm excited to change it up a bit for this one too :) My next video is going to be going through and organizing my yarn stash, and my plans for destashing in 2024!

I moved to Sweden this past summer and thought this year would be a great time to do a temperature blanket. Im doing small 3 inch granny squares so the blanket will be more of a throw size.

I did one in '21 to commemorate my now fiance's and my first year of dating. I did corner to corner so that it didn't get massive. Unfortunately it has been sitting in my repair pile for 2yrs since I didn't know how to tie off my colors properly till half way through. He has been asking about it so I need to fix it before winter comes lol. I have been thinking of doing another one but not yet sure what pattern to use though I know I want to try highs and lows next time. I like knitting, crochet, and quilting and love the idea of eventually having ones in all three mediums.

personally I haven't seen a temperature blanket out of puff flowers before! if I didn't already have a blanket planned for this year I'd be sooo tempted. Really excited to see how it'll turn out 🩷

Yes, I am going to Hobby Lobby, tomorrow. I was thinking about using variegated yarn that gave the temperature vibe. I thought of separating the seasons with a solid color that could also be used on the boarder. I haven’t decided on a stitch maybe, the V Stitch. ❤ your flowers!
