- In this video I'll be showing you how to crochet cornrows! This method allows you to have a chunky cornrow braid that you can adjust to achieve the mermaid braid affect! If you don't know how to do the feed in method this video is for you!

AndreaR12810 Of course! I braid them into the braid as I work my way down! Then sew the two braids together just at the nape because it’s more appealing! ...And thank you 😊

Doubling the hair definitely will not give it a dramatic look, if u want a dramatic look butterfly them
did you crochet the hair all the way to the end of your braid?
Chandra Thomas I crocheted it all the way to the loose ends and just braided the ends into the hair! Make sure you start the crochet at the very beginning of your hairline or leave a little piece of your natural hair out at the beginning for a more natural look!

Lavinia Redmond Yes, if you have hair like mine lol! It’s equivalent to hairspray but for ethnic hair. It freezes hair in place, especially when you’re curling hair and you spray lightly with spritz it makes your curls last longer!

Idk what everyone is talking about. I think is Ugly and looks like weave. The point of doing feed in braids is to look natural. The style could have been executed so much better. Cuz the braids themself looked good.

Yes, if you were doing the feed in method it would have looked more natural, but I was trying a completely different technique and going for a more dramatic look. And of course the style could have looked better, there’s always room for growth. Practice makes perfect!
