    wow, love this method, I can finally do crochet by myself! I usually get my friend to braid my hair down. Here's a tip, when trying to separate the hair wet it first, use an activator product, or do the soak method to take off the alkaline base.

    • @atiliamooring9421
      @atiliamooring9421 7 років тому +5

      THE SOAK METHOD? PLEEEEEASE SHARE MORE!! IT TAKES ME SOOOOO LONG TO DO MY CROCHET BECAUSE I HAVE A BIT OF OCD SO I TAKE MY TIME SEPERATING THE HAIR. PLEEEEEASE HELP?

    • @msgenevajb
      @msgenevajb 7 років тому +1

      Kerri Morgan Thanks, I ordered the hair and will definitely do the soak method. I did it for the first time for my last Crochet and it made a huge difference.

    • @selvision
      @selvision 7 років тому

      Kerri Morgan is the soak method just for synthetic hair or should you be doing that for human hair as well

    • @blubet1
      @blubet1 7 років тому +1

      Kerri Morgan hey what does the soaking method do?

    • @morgank98
      @morgank98 7 років тому +15

      Atilia Mooring sorry it took me so long to reply back, couldn't find this video or your comments anymore. the soak method, you add about a 1/4 cup of vinegar to a sink of water, let it soak till you see a whitish film on the top of the water. It takes off the coating, making it easier to separate and helps those that have a sensitivity to synthetic hair.

    Your lazy go videos are saving me some serious money. Since I can't do cornrows I always have to pay someone to do my cornrows and they never seem to come out the way I describe it. This method cuts out the cornrows and the braid pattern. Thank you so much for this it's a blessing.

    I tried and loved it. Lasted so much longer than when I braid my own hair. I had for one month and half. Even though everybody was telling me it's fine leave it for more time, I took off because I don't like stick on the same hair style for too long. Definitely will do it again. Your method gain a fan from Portugal

    WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS?!?
    I watched it. Didn't believe it & had to watch it again. I tried the Crochet Method (with the cornrows) for the first time in April for my birthday. It turned out okay but since I suck at doing cornrows on myself, I've been looking for a different (& more simple) methods. THIS is perfect! My two year anniversary is coming up & I'm thinking that this beautiful Lazy Girl Method is the thing to do. I understood it, it turned out absolutely gorgeous on you & now I just gotta find the right color for me. Thank you so much for this. You're beautiful, talented & inspiring. Gonna have to subscribe & learn more.

    This is absolutely gorgeous and simple! I used to do my own hair until breast cancer and all the surgeries and medication left me with right side weakness on my dominant right arm all the way to my fingers. It’s now so difficult to do my hair because of all the pain and numbness; however, your method which I will try this weekend should help substantially 🎊 Thank you so much!! 🙌🏼🙏🏼🩷🤍

    I tried this style on my daughter's hair, she got the exact same hair and it didn't come out like yours did. Sometime when I pulled it through it would frizz up coming through the loop. The next day it was so frizzy that we ended up cutting it out and throwing it all in the trash. The hair didn't look anything like the hair on the video,and when we separated it at the end like you did, it didn't separate like yours. Not blaming you, just saying what happened. I did crochet braids on her hair before an it came out really good, so good she wore it for a month still looking good. We just wanted to try something different. Going back to the other style. Thank you. Kathleen

    Briana, thanks for sharing this method for doing a quick crochet hair style. I need to try it because my edges-hair line is receding due to the professional braiding that I have had done at the salon. I hope by trying your technique I can give my edges a chance to regrow. I don't like the bald spots in the front and on the sides of my head were I have lost so much hair. Yet when I look at your hair line looks healthy, and without ball spots. Wish me luck! I going to buy the Freetress deep wave bulk hair and try you technique today.

    THANK YOU! It should be a crime for a black woman to not be able to cornrow hair, but...I CAN'T. I think I can actually do this and have it look great. Thanks again, girl!!!!!

    FINALLY! I mess my hair up with lazy cornrows and my hair is so thick. I just had a baby, and my first born is only 1. My crochet twists are getting heavy and I need to change this hair. sitting in my suggested/recommended list.. 🤗

    Oil is a sealant by just using oil on dry hair you are just locking in the dryness. So try spraying water on your hair before you ad the oil. Because the water adds the moisture to dry hair and the oil will seal in that and add moisture and protection

    So I just tried this and ran out of hair and decided to take it down( have an event tomorrow and can't go with hair looking a mess) still in the process and honestly it's kind of a mess to take down I did use a different type of hair but I used the same process along with cutting the net to show the part and it just started to not look as good. Much success to you ladies who try this but only use this exact hair or it won't work 😕 thought any hair would work BC of her other video but it does not 😕. Not hating just trying to save other ladies a headache Havana mambo hair is a no go for this style I've used it before on traditional crochets and it work fabulously.

      You really don't have to use the same hair I am so into this process it works my hair length is past bra strap cannot braid so this is my go to...I only use 2.5 packs....Should have kept reading I would never try this with any type mamo hair....
