FALL FROM GRACE
The Land of Shadow. A place obscured by the Erdtree.
Where the goddess Marika first set foot.
A land purged in an unsung battle.
Set ablaze by Messmer’s flame.
It was to this land that Miquella departed.
Divesting himself of his flesh, his strength, his lineage.
Of all things Golden.
And now Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.
Character Information
Background / Motivation
_An older, classical knight. A Golden Order Fundamentalist who worships the Erdtree.
One of the earliest followers of Miguella. Believing that Miquella would be the future of The Lands Between.
Branded an Heretical Prophet, banished from The Lands Between after a vision where he saw fire and Miquella walking away from the Gorden Order. A vision he never believed could be real.
He continued bringing kindness to those who needed it outside of The Lands Between, just as Miquella would have done. Always hoping that he would one day find his Grace and set his eyes on the Erdtree again.
Now, he finds himself back in The Lands Between in search of answers. No longer recognizing the land where he was born and raised. What has happened to his beloved homeland? What happened to Miquella? Did he really betray the Golden Order as seen in his vision?_

Sir Mik preferably uses Holy Incantations to strengthen himself and defeat his enemies.
He is very experienced in battle and warfare. He has seen it all. In his time away from The Lands Between he learned to craft and use a great variety of tools, whatever necessary to survive.
Being originally a Golden Order Fundamentalist, Sir Mik is well trained in Incantations and Sorceries.
He acknowledges that, to win a battle, one must to be able and willing to use everything at their disposal.
(With his high Faith and Intelligence, Sir Mik is basically able to use whatever is necessary to win a fight)

Good fight against messmer. To me he felt more like the kind of bosses that I love in these games than most of the others in the dlc.
Reminder when you explore the church district at the keep:look for a prayer room,you have the key to open it.
I found it almost right away! I had forgotten all about that key...
Freya keeps mentioning Ansbach so maybe it would be a good idea to talk to him about her?
It’s interesting that the scroll is birch bark because if you’ve ever looked closely at the two fingers (I noticed this at the ones on the Leyndell tower but I’m guessing they’re all that way) they appear to be made of wood, with bark as the “skin” and darker wood grain underneath
For exploration episode, gentle reminder that there was a second entrance to shadow keep.
Edit: oh you noticed it at the very end.
By the time I had killed Messmer, I had previously explored the Church District (I actually did that before going through the front of the Shadow Keep), and had found nearly every exit out of there before I did the whole area you went through in this video, and the previous one.
That would set you up really well with the extra Scadutree fragments.
Torrent is the final boss. Obviously.
Torrent is Miquella.

I love how you have never compromised your opinion about +X talismans. I agree that they feel bad. What would you think of a system of upgrading for Talismans?
Even when I will absolutely use the improved version, its still boring.
I love that idea! And make the upgrade system a challenge in and of itself. Earn it.
