- I had the opportunity to play along with the Behringer Crave Synthesizer pre-production unit for a couple of hours! This track is using sounds from the Crave only, including drums! Composed and produced by www.firechild.se

I was stationed in Germany when "New Wave" was blowing up. I always like the sounds of Gary Numan and Devo among others but could never afford the gear (raising a family will do that).30 years later in comes Behringer and the Crave...I can now produce that sound and create other with the help of the Neutron. Your never too old!

I honestly thought a product looking as good as this, with a build quality and of course sounds this inspiring would be around £200-£300 at least.

Some of B's official demos to me are a bit weak, it needs people to demo who understand the tech, Mr F obviously does.
@@totaltwit Behringer also brought in Moot Booxle to do the demos at NAMM 2019 who did a great job as he is a musician who understands the tech and plays them amazingly.
@@RoomAtTheTopStudio That's ok as that's your opinion, I don't want to talk bad of Mr Booxle, what he does is his style, just for me, was dull. Each to their own.

Thank you for doing these type of demos. Its so useful to be able to hear these synths in a full arrangement. Gives a much better idea of the real world sound than someone going - 'this is what the saw tooth sounds like, this is the filter cutoff' etc etc.
So, how come not EVERY synth is demoed by the amazing Mr Firechild? This is sick! 🤘

It's an entire JMJ studio in a box no bigger than a briefcase! In fact, judging by his latest output, that is an insult to Mr Firechild - this is a billion times better an anything he's put out in the last ten years. If this track came out in 1972, Mr F would be a multi-millionaire. Awesome job.

Thanks for your demo, this was the main reason I decided to buy the crave, sooooo excited(as a little child and I am 56) because I want to use it for making music and not only noise

Behringer "rocks" the Namm 2019! A lot of people criticize their new products, but in my opinion with prices like that I think they are a considerable threat for other brands in some product ranges. Music for the masses, like they say...
Just like Primark and Dacia
At the price these are going for... I think it’s a great starter synth for people getting into analog synths. And for folks with a ton of gear already... it’s a very reasonable add on to expand their setup. But there will always be haters :(

Excellent track showcasing the Crave. I've been holding out on the Behringer clones for a while now, but $199 for a unique semi-modular packed with features? Damn son. For the price of one Mother-32 you can buy three Craves.

Yet another totally different sounding demo.The synth chameleon does it again !! Considering Mr Firechild's sparse set up I thought he made a 'silk purse out of a sow's ear from such a rare Behringer synth.Rare because it's not a clone.Andy Bell would have been twanging his braces to such beautiful 80s synthpop melodies.And all done in a couple of hours ! Home and hosed and even in time for buttered muffins and a Blue Nun.Wow.Thank you.

Amazing work as usual - and it is a LOT of work to create full on tracks with one little mono synth ! True Vince Clark style.
This guy could make a great track out of anything though ( fancy trying a Casio VL-Tone ?! )

Exciting - I want it ! Are you playing live or have some pre-recorded track ? As far as I know Crave is single-voiced, but I hear a lot of different sounds together, or may be this is illusion ?
Each part is recorded and mixed together.

Is there any word on a release? I'm about to purchase my first hardware synth and I might just hold out for this because the price is amazing. Any of you guys think this might be better to get first over a monolouge/minilogue? Or should I stick with my original plan of a mono or mini?

Hello, great demo, it really shows the synth's potential. I have a couple of questions: how did you connect the AKAI LPK25 to CRAVE (I see Crave's got a DIN Midi)? What Daw did you use to record tracks? Thanks.

How do you run the Akai LPK25 s USB MIDI directly into the Crave?...is there a USB Midi Host Converter under there somehwhere? :)

I love that little Akai board you're using! Was toying with getting one of those myself but went for a 61 key M-Audio instead because my old 61 was dying a bit. Still want the baby Akai! And now I want a Behringer Crave too. Cheers for that. Fab track though, love it.
