Jamie Dimond "cautions" the fed with regards to raising interest rate-s aggressively. The problem with a fed "aggressive" plan, would entail even slower credit expansion rates. This is a "consumer" driven economy which is very sensitive to escalating interest rates. (e.g. 💳credit cards/personal loans/mortgages)
Inflation will not disappear overnight. With or without FRIRH's.
An equitable plan would be leaning towards a modest uptick of quarterly interest rate hike-s. e.g. "25 bps" or quarterly omission-s. Inflation would have to run hotter & longer for a prolonged period of time to avoid an even heightened severity of consequence-s. Supply disruption-s do have validity in this conundrum.
Yes, unfortunately, the consumer will bear the brunt of all this as it always has. 💸
