I’d say there’s a 0.1% chance Peugeot or the teams shared any CAD files, drawings etc for this car. For VRC to replicate this car, down to the tiniest details so perfectly from pictures and videos is unreal. Nobody does it better.
The holes over the tyres are to release air pressure from around the wheel in the wheel arch. This is to help stop the car lifting up at the front and causing airbourne crashes. They was introduced in prototype cars around 2011/2012. Apparently Peugeot will release their next prototype with a "proper" wing. Keep up the great content you produce.
Actually front wheel arch pressure ventilators (the technical term from back in the day) were introduced all the way back in the late 60s. The Dodge Daytona and Plymouth Superbird had them in '69 and '70. If you ask a boomer why they're there, they will usually tell you the tired myth that the Daytona and Superbird "made so much downforce that the tires rubbed on the top of the inside wheel arch." Nobody except Chrylser's aerodynamicists understood it at the time, but it is purely to reduce the accumulation of lift (via turbulent air) in the front wheel arch.
@@jonredcorn862 It was more about the sudden BoP and change of rules that made the car not as good from what I've heard, and not having a rear wing didn't let them change the car settings the way they wanted to. The Peugeot easily surpasses anything else I've ever driven in a sim let alone AC. Visually, physically, and functionally, this car is a masterpiece.
