Yes, I support 100% as soon as the canal finishes, Cambodia no more pay shipping fees pass through Vietnam, $300 per container is a lot of money, some time Vietnam hold the shipping for months.

Cambodia is regarded as a cordial and industrious nation. Global readers express satisfaction in learning about Cambodia's collaboration with China to initiate the construction of a new Funan Techo Canal, effectively mitigating a pressing economic impediment.
Prudence is paramount when engaging with a nation that exhibits a deficiency in reliability, and decorum, and manifests hubris and disorderly conduct, as exemplified by the Country Vietnam, India. Contemplating recourse to divine intervention and retribution is advised.
Responsible, pacifist and assiduous nations, exemplified by China, are strongly urged to approach the disorderly conduct of Country Vietnam, India and the belligerent activities of Country United States of America with circumspection, refraining from imposing specific timelines.

I hv a question, instead of building this canal which is slated to take next year, why can't the govt further develop the train infrastructure from Phnom Penh to Kep?
"The canal would permit barges to move goods from Phnom Penh to a new port facility at Kep to be loaded onto ocean-bound ships."
    >> The $1.7 billion Belt and Road project will be built as a build-operate-transfer (BOT) project, likely by Chinese state-owned enterprise China Bridge and Road Corporation (CRBC) with construction slated to begin in 2024 and end in 2027. Recent media reports suggest the Chinese BOT owner will have a lease on the project for 40-50 years.
