Thanks for watching, everyone! And correction: I think the better word is 'vernacular,' not slang. Oops! But you still get the idea :)
so what..youre utterly amazing! Can I marry you?
Marco Bucci Which program do you use to record you time lapses?
haha. I'm taken.
I'm using Camtasia for my captures and editing.
Nice work
"style is different dialects of a language"
absolute gold.

"wow those are some very full lips batman"
When you have a mask that leaves an open mouth area for a jawline like that, how could you NOT kiss Batman?
Holy Botox Batman
👄
😂
Thats probably why joker is obsessed with batman, no one could resist those lips
Bucci gang, bucci gang, bucci gang.
hahahaha - Hey! Congrats on 200k :)
I like the part where he says "Bucci Gang"
i see you everywhere. stop stalking me. (jk🌚👌🏼)

*In my language "buci" means "asscheeks" and i always think about it when i read his name*
4:29 "Wow those are some very full lips Batman"

Thats the best one tho! lol
I think the most important thing that I learned in this video is that you admitted that you're essentially adding in random colors during the beginning phase of the painting. I know you're still adhering to color theory and everything, but I've always struggled with understanding where artists got the little different splotches of colors within each main area of value. Saying that these color choices are not entirely deliberate is really enlightening and I think I'll try applying this mentality the next time I paint. Thanks!
Thank you for writing this down.👁👁 Like seriously.
Always felt the same too
this isn’t showing how to steal styles, this shows to just OPEN YOUR MIND!!! BE DIFFERENT AND EXPLORE 👏👏
THANK YOU! Finally a pro artist that doesn’t dismiss “style” and explore different styles!!!
Yessss woooo lets goooo
"Bring chaos into order" Yes! I feel that too when I'm painting or drawing. Thank you for putting it into words and so much thanks for your videos, they're so helpful and inspiring!
I liked the first drawing as it looks all dark and gritty like something you see on a movie poster or a video game front cover.
He stole it from alex ross without giving credit
trahapace150 Mate what? He painted that himself.
@@trahapace150 he very clearly painted it no?
What is this style called? I would like to study it more.
This video is just a work of art in itself. You did such a good job explaining how you were creating the artwork. There wasn't a "Draw the rest of the owl" sort of moment. Showing the closeups of the jaw was really demonstrative as well. Thanks
Thanks Daniel!
As full of wisdom and well presented all your videos on painting are, I have found that this one in particular has helped me the most with my art.
I have spent years trying to grind fundamentals and do studies every day, anxiously sitting in front of the canvas and clenching my stylus like a gun was pointed to my head, ready to go off at the slightest mistake.
What this particular exercise of yours showed me was that painting was, first and foremost, fun. I looked at you laying down big shapes on the canvas, playing in that puddle of chaos without caring about how wet your boots were going to get. It has offered me so much comfort to see that art can, and should be an exploration.
I have started doing personnal projects alongside my studies and letting loose a little bit on the canvas, and I have never felt better about painting.
Thank you for everything you're doing for the community, Marc
OMG! This is incredibly well explained. This just goes to show that painting is just a mosaic of shapes of different varieties coming together and we have to train our mind to see that way. The end result is affected by how you feel about those shapes. Thank you so much for your videos!
I love your high quality microphone
Haha, thanks. Actually it's only a $100 USB condenser. But I've been a hobbyist audio geek for a few years, so a lot of the sound is from post-production :)
Every lesson of yours clarifies the fundamentals so much more and makes me eager to learn and explore it more!! This one was truly mind-blowing! You, Sir, are a master!
That's great! And thank you :)
I love the approach of blocking in with texture at the beginning to influence the direction of your work. I’m an amateur musician and some of my best stuff has started with ambient recordings of the outdoors, then building on that.
My, this video was a very pleasant experience.
Why*
Dude, this video was sick!!111
"Ordo Ad Chao"... that's all about in this Universe. Amazing.
Dude, this was Sick!
Why, I had a very pleasant experience with that comment.
Lol! XD
That explanation of painting was poetic
That is one of the most helpful advices i've heard so far about art. I really thank you for your insight on it!
Thank you, Marco. Your videos are an inspiration that got me back into art. Best of luck with your work.
it's like magic seeing you do these
the fantastic juggling of form and color. stunningly!
This is one of the best videos about style in art I've seen so far. Even though I am a traditional and not a digital artist it was extremly helpful and inspiring. Thank you!!!
That 18 mins is jam packed with info but is smooth enough to surf. Phenomenal. I really appreciate it and am excited to experiment.
You got my subscription with this video! Your thoughts on chaos may be the best advice on painting I've ever received.
I love coming back to Marco's older videos. They're all so very useful as important reminders. Also interesting to hear how Marco's voice changes over the years!
Great points. Well explained & demonstrated, as always. 👍🏾 My fave of the four are 1 & 3.
Fantastic styles, very precise and easy to learn tutorials. Thanks!
Marco, you are the man! Love listening to you, thank you.
I really love your videos. Coming from someone who focused on drawing and is now trying to add in painting and increase my skills, these have been very valuable. Thank You
Thank you teacher for your wonderful lesson, it helped me a lot!
That second style omg. So awesome, gonna try it later!
Lately, I've binge-watched a number of your videos for a fresh perspective on things...and I think it is safe to say: You are my hero when it comes to colour and digital paint!!!
this was so much fun to watch. brilliant as always :D
Absolutely stunning.
I learn something with every video you post, man! It's greatly appreciated!
Marc you are the best teacher. Thankyou for making these videos
Love all of them!
Mannn you're a genius. Your way of explaining and discovering things is just amazing
this is really awesome! I love all the different styles for different reasons, keep up the good work!
Absolutely, jaw droppingly wicked video!!
You're very well spoken. Great tutorial.
The last one is like a bunch of colourful sticky notes shoved into a plastic jar that just so happens to be in the shape of batman.
I work traditionally, but I was mesmerized watching this. Also, these style "dialects" are very relevant to any method. Awesome!
oh my GOSH !!! Man thatz Brave really courageous..and sure an eye opener .Thankyou
Your explanation by closing in on the corners of the mouth is so interesting! Learned something new. Such quality content. Thank you!!!!
You are amazing! This was so fun to watch. Every time I watch your videos I always have something new I learned
great work, new subscriber
Same.
Excellent tutorial. Love your videos.
I can't decide which painting I like best, they're all amazing work!
Another excellent video Marco, very well explained. Thanks for making it.
Great demonstration!! I liked the first one you did the best. I have never thought about starting with random 'textures'. I generally build up 'random' colors and keep refining to get an oil painting look in my digital portraits. I digitally paint much like I would paint traditionally.
style number 2 is fantastic
This was extra-didactic, so thank you for that. My favourite techniques are Batman number 2 and 3. I still can't believe how you can master so many different styles and rock them this hard. Needless to say you gained a follower!
This stuff is gold! Thank you!
The n1 looks amazing!
This was really inspiring! It's given me a fresh way to think about my art. Thanks for the video!
Indeed XD
loved all 4 styles..
His was a great video to watch with some very helpful examples.
This is amazing my mind is totaly blown which almost never happens with art videos anymore because of how many i watch but this is beutiful and astounding and ahhh its great
I love this video so much and have learnt so much from it! Thank you so much!
Thanks for sharing and teaching... Marco!
So much deep education here... brilliant!
@Marco Bucci You are my favorite tutor cause you say not only what you are doing but what you think and what decicions you make during painting and this is the most important. Sharing and describing thoughts, proccesses, decicions BEFORE you lay a stroke is the greatest lesson and not everyone can do this.
Thanks!
The second one was really my favourite
AMAZING! You're a monster, Marco! Thank you a lot!
you are an amazing teacher
I really enjoyed the third and fourth the most! Thanks for the video!
I love all of them
Great exploration and explanation of style. It was really interesting to see how you went about each painting, thank you for sharing.
your Videos are so awesome and inspirational .. Thank you too much!
He's the best teacher any painting student can have, it's just so enlightening.
I like how you explain stuff. thanks Marco
This is by far the best & most helpful explanation of style I've ever seen. You articulate it brilliantly! Thank you.
Mary Thompson thanks!
Really great video! I've come back to it a couple of times because it so helpful and fun.
this is apsolutely awsome!
I really enjoy the second style you use in this video and have trying to replicate it. Thank you for making this :)
I really love this video. Thank You so much for this. It has taught me so much.
Thank you , great demonstration
2nd one was the best, I love how it looks
Marco, I am really happy I found your channel. So many interesting and challenging ideas.
This is great. One of the best art videos I have seen here.
This is so inspirational! Thank you so much!
Wow, pretty cool, I like #2 & 4 Batman's (I'm partial to the impressionist movement)!
Great tips and demonstration! Really love your style. Thanks for sharing :)
cool i love the randomness and exploring the uncomfortable breakthrough in one comfort zone. Exploring wild colors and shapes to achieve cool artistic styles. love how you compare the different ones as well! This will help me break out of my artist Fears! Thanks Man!
Thank you for your advice, I plan on trying this study technique in the near future!
Thank you again Marco. your videos helped me to improve my skill. now i get a lot of work, and i'm living well from my art. :D you videos are changing not only my art, but my life as an artist. no words to describe it. so, just thank you very much.
Henrique DLD Art that’s incredibly humbling. Thank you!
You are literaly making my day!!! Thank you so much!!!
Amazingly done....knowledgeable
Dude, thanks for the classes. I'm trying to get in digital painting again and your videos are very helpful. Subbed.
Cheers!
Wow! This tutorial is mindblowing 😧
My man. I could even listen to you talk about painting without the video! So glad I found you! Big thanks for sending me here Shaishav!
Awesome video. Great help.
thank you for this video. very informative and fun!! helps you think differently!
Awesome video! One of the best art channels I know
