    • @KayakFishingAddict
      @KayakFishingAddict  Рік тому

      Hi Mark, thanks for the question. This is one of the most stable kayak's there is - Hobie Outback. Take a look at this video for my thoughts on it vs the Hobie Compass - ua-cam.com/video/jhB_oeiYprQ/v-deo.html . As far as a suggestion, it all depends on what type of fishing you plan on doing, do you need/want to stand while doing it, how "into kayak fishing" are you, and what's your budget. Overall, If you've never done it before, I'd recommend testing the waters with a used or rented kayak first. Either way, tell me a little more about your answers to those questions and I'll do what I can to assist you with a good recommendation.

    Caught a 35" snook around that area back in the marsh a year ago. After Ian the marsh is much higher and more friendly to pedal kayaks. I have yet to catch a trout there but hopefully this year will change that. These videos really assist me in getting a reality check and making plans for fishing the marsh. You might mention the finished construction on the high bridge ramp (finally!)

    • @KayakFishingAddict
      @KayakFishingAddict  Рік тому +1

      Wow, 35" is a toad! Nice catch there. Yes, the water levels are higher now that we're in this part of the year. I like that although it's far more water to search for the fish. I didn't realize the high bridge boat ramp was done....I tend to launch at the local pull off on the west side of the bridge....I'll have to go over there and see what all of the construction was about. Tight lines.
