This may be to late but if both my amps do not have an out can I do the same from the head unit for the amps?

If your deck only has 1 set of pre-outs, just split your RCAs right at the amps. It doesn't change anything as far as ohms output. Thats an entirely different ballgame. The RCAs are signal in only. Hope this helped?

Seems like you’d lose the ability to fade the speakers front & rear since you’re using the same outputs from the head unit and splitting to the amp.
