Outstanding analysis - very interesting look at the creative and intellectual process underpinning the COIN system and war gaming in general. Have been thinking about Thai system for a simulation on the Haitian Revolution and this had my head spinning (in a good way).
This is really an excellent presentation with much useful and in depth information! One should listen to this carefully and several times. I am currently designing a war game of the Finnish War 1808 and after hearing the presentation it was necessary to make a number of changes.
When I watch this, I get an irresistable urge to design a COIN game 🎲 Thanks Volko for this lecture, it's great to be able to get a deep insight into the COIN-game design process 🖐️ This will prove invaluable to all future designers out there. And thanks Sebastian and GUWS for sharing this and other insighful lectures. Cheers and godspeed!
Great lecture, very inspiring. I've been working on my own game for a year now (strategic level) and while it is my first design I see I did some things similarly (e.g. defining models, whats important) and I got confirmation that some of design decisions I conciously made as "not-so-good" are actually "not-so-good". Thank you!
Very inspiring, thanks a lot for recording and sharing this presentation.
Thank you! We cannot do it without our awesome speakers

Looking forward to your design!

Which Software does one use to generate inteligent intricate mind map models?

This is a really interesting talk. Has this been turned into a text or guide?
Irish civil could be very interesting in coin.
