Thank you for this! Great stuff! I am sitting here model building - I want to design as well - but as a newbie - I had no idea where to start - I love your COIN games as well as Levy and Campaign series - Which I feel maybe a great fit for a few themes related to ancient / near ancient China - COIN - the Han Dynasty right before and precursor to the Three Kingdoms, and The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom/Rebellion, LEVY Campaign - Three Kingdoms proper. I'd love get some pointers on how to design and/or pitch it to say GMT. What do I need to have in place or to get there! I want to be able to tell that story and am excited!

Hi Gordon! Thanks! Per our recent conversation, I hope to see you on Levy & Campaign Discord soon -- lots of folks there (along with me) happy to collaborate!

Hi Gordon! Thanks for that lovely feedback, so glad you are enjoying the games and working toward that design.

My first wargame was France '40, bought in 1971 (which I still have). I also did a report for school that came out of that game. In the 11th grade I did a presentation on the Maginot Line. I also majored in history in college. I also recently retired. Is there a way I can contact you regarding a potential COIN game design?

Same here! France 1940 was my first wargame, in 6th grade in 1973, and I wrote a school report on the campaign based almost entirely on the game.
