I just received this microphone and your video was very helpful. Thank you! There's one thing I want to point out. The microphone has 3 grooves. There's one at the top of the microphone, as you show in the video, and there are two more at the bottom of the microphone. The Lav Clip should be attached to one of the grooves at the bottom of the mic because the groove at the top allows the Pop Shield to lock into place so it won't fall off easily.
thank you for making this video because I watched four other videos of people doing it so fast that it wasn't clear or their hands block whatever they are doing. I was in a rage before your video. Thank you
Thank you so much. Yours was the only video showing how to attach the clip. I sometimes think that the 'techy' people make these details hard for ordinary folk like me. You have prevented me from breaking the item before I have even used it - an all-too-frequent occurrence in my world. Your channel is invaluable. Regards, Bob McGowan.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I'd bee trying to figure it out myself with no luck. The what I'd set it up, it had been rocking around and I'd been getting feedback. I'd almost given up and stopped using it! Thank you.
Thank you so much for helping me save money!!! Am living off savings and this tip prevented me from breaking the mic. Really super grateful for your effort to shoot something as useful as this. Thank you!!!!! 😊😊😊
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤❤❤ I can’t add enough thank you to this! I can’t believe it was so easy but I still had to look up a video because Rodes doesn’t include instructions! I am eternally grateful to you and I’ve liked and subscribed!
Thank you for this... only one warning... the foam part of the wind screen separates very easily from its rubber ring bottom... so when pulling it off, it pays to make sure one is pulling the whole wind screen assembly and not just the foam part. A tiny dab of Gorilla glue can wed them back together if need be.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽💕I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to attach the microphone to the clip. Lavalier could at least put a diagram on the box, for goodness’s sake!

I felt really dumb searching for this because I thought it would be obvious lol thank you for clarifying how to do this
Glad it helped!
Right?! Same!
i thought I was losing my mind trying to figure this out. I'm relieved. thank you. hahaha.
Wonderful! I'm using the Rohde since 6 Years and I could never figure out how to attach it to the clip😅 Now it works! Thanks a lot!

Yes. I got it out of the box and no instructions how to attach the mic to that wire thing. I am stupid. Thanks for the video.
Thanks a lot!!!😊😊
Thank you. I wish i did not have to watch a video on that yet here we are
Helpful, thank you!
Needed this. Thank you! 🙌💯
You're most welcome!
Merci 👍
This mic doesn't work with phones? I tried to put it in my phone but nothing happen
Thank you for stopping me from breaking mine lol
I kept trying to pry it open to slide the cable 😅 thank you so much for this!
Glad my video helped! You're welcome.
Glad I’m not the only dummy who had to look this up
Thanks for watching!
But I don't have this hook on my clip
That's so sad! Maybe you can try improvising a paper clip to hook it on your clip.
I actually sold mine because I couldn’t work this out 😢😂
I am dumbfounded that they did not include instructions for this... 🤦♂️
Well in fact you got it wrong. You stop on the first "edge" ar 0.31, you should go all the way down. Just check the official Rode instructions video.
This is wrong.. you didn’t finish the last part in looping it around
Thank you for the video !
