Good video man. Great job brother
I was nearly 7 min in before realizing this guy a Genius-Level Troll 6:52
Thanks man
is it worthy adding subwoofer on stock stereo afterall?what are your impressions?i wanna add on my 2017 ram subwoofers but idk if im gonna get a decent or good sound.
yes i just wanted more bass, so its been great!
did you wire up front and rear speakers
So on that line output converter do u just put the wires anywhere in the harness or in specific spots
It actually tells you which one to hook it to, I think it was like the both left speakers front and back maybe.
Where did you get the line output converter and how much was it? Do they have this on Amazon?
eBay and it was like $15
Where did you find your wire diagram for the back of the radio?
just found it on google photos
What color was the wire that you spliced the accessories wire into? I’m not sure which one to splice under the dash!
I just found one that had power when the key was turned on but off when the key was off
No you don't man good idea to do the new wiring harness but what you could've done is go to your local walmart buy a aux to rca cables and just hook it up to your aux connector on the radio much easier, but your way is better
Do you think you could help me out with hooking the converter up I can’t get mine to work
It should work if you hooked it up the way I showed it!
Did you have an issue where after the install you have no sound from the front speakers only the rear? If so how’d you fix that
No it’s worked perfect ever since I installed it.
I have this issue, did you find a solution?
Thanks! I’m putting an air horn in and I couldn’t figure out the firewall penetration. I’m gonna have to be careful so I don’t hit the wire harness.
Good video but where did u hook the remote wire up to.
I hook it up in the video to one of the wires that are underneath my dash there’s a little harness that has some tail sticking out of the harness but it really doesn’t matter as long as when you turn the key the wire gets power that’s all you need
Great video not exactly the same truck but helped me understand what I needed to do
Glad it helped!
One thing I noticed on UA-cam you don't see many videos swapping out car stereos in new vehicles like you see with older cars.
That's because it's so damn expensive with new vehicles lol
some newer vehicles dont have that option because the stereo is specific to the vehicle, unlike the single/double din system in older vehicles
Too risky and expensive
Never run audio cables near power cables
I don't know someone told me that in forums and it can be seen everywhere
They specify that you gains static
Yes you'll end up with humming from the alternator i learned the hard way
Yeah I learned that after the fact, but so far haven’t had any issues for the last 3 years the audios been clear!
You think I could get your number and you could help me out a little bit connecting the line output converter to the radio

Put two 12” in my 2011 Ford F-250 and it drained my freaking battery. Not really sure what to do.
Were you using it when the vehicle wasn’t on?
where did you ground it?
To the seat mount where it bolts to the cab.
Hey bud I need the headlight stuff off of that 1500 you built Kawasaki
paul kyser most of it was damaged and I had no use for so I threw it away, sorry
@@Benjamminoutdoors it was worth a shot just found your video really good job though it turned out nice
paul kyser yeah sorry, I do try to keep any parts that I think I maybe able to use sometime down the road.
Brother, you need a more powerful head unit to even begin to make use of that Amp you just spent money on. You should have done some cursory research prior to doing that. Really love that you’re taking on projects and taking the initiative, but being a wee bit reckless and ultimately getting a weak final result no? Right or wrong ?
Well I got all this for free, so that’s why I installed this. It’s been working great since I installed and the bass is plenty loud especially for free🤷🏽♂️ this works great for someone on a budget.
what is the name of that song😂
?
?
The green ASTRO turf is stupid as hell
Thankful I don’t care what you think!
