I feel like in certain matchups in solo lanes AP Kai'Sa could potentially also go with first strike cashback triple tonic jack with precision secondary. this would typically be the best against melee mids where trading patterns mean that you get first strike value when they have to step into the wave to farm and you can auto-q for tear stack + small amount of gold. this will also accelerate her spike + triple tonic giving her max w earlier, as well as her build path giving her a lot of jack stacks very quickly (AD, AP, haste, mpen, ms, mana, within the first two items and boots) also imo cut down is by far the better rune vis-a-vis coup de grace, because she has %missing health damage on passive. this means that the >50% of hp to whittle down is more important than the
What if I go joat (jack of all trades) and I get 10 stacks with tier one boots, d blade, statikk collector, nashor’s. I think some match ups kaisa still can go dirk rush in lane, and build statikk first, but I don’t play kaisa much. And after three items , build hourglass, get sorc boots sell d blade, still remain 10 joat stacks.
I'm a bit unsure about terminus into squishy assassins it feels like a bit of bait since you need Aa to get the resistants. Unless you can hit a tank beforehand the fights against assassins will be decided in the first 1-2 seconds so you would want uppfront resist not delayd as it would come in to late. I like it more if I know i will cite a lot in the game vs certain mele Bruisers or tanks.
Tbf it’s more a question of comfort and no better options ( expect crit ofc ) . Into squishies fight don’t last long so going for navori won’t give u much value same for bork which is better for tanks . This leave terminus , even if u only land 2 autos it’s still more armor and MR than other options which can make a diff into assassin . Not to mention the extra amor pen allows to build Bloodthirster and Zhonya and skip LDR since I have terminus to cover penetration
Have you tried opportunity 1st item? A high elo kaisa (i think masters) goes double pickaxe into opportunity and guinsoos. I think you get evolv with the components of opportunity plus the extra pickaxe
Yes its lethality Kaisa , u can try if u want but its not for the avreage Kai'sa player bc it requires u to know the limits of the champion which most player dont
Is hail of blades bad now? I've been using it on her and always liked it. The middle rune option doesn't really have anything good since they changed it but revealing wards automatically is decent enough so I still use it, but is PtA really so much better?
yes HoB is on paper pretty dead compared to other options. But if HoB is ur comfort rune then i recommend u keep using it , just try to get used to PTA since its just 4 times bettter

I tried the adc AP build, and it feels kind of shit. So you only get Q evolve at lvl 10; much later than manamunes lvl 8, unless you forgot to mention cull! Furthermore, You spam 2 W´s and ur out of mana, whats the point of an AP build if u run out so fast? Sorry, I dont really agree with this build, it sits wrong with me, I´d rather be weaker in lane and actually be able to play later on
U should get Q evolution way earlier . ER + dblade + long sword that’s 80 AD gives Q at lvl 8 . U probably forgot long sword . As for the W spam , u have infinite mana regen trough ur ER u just need to auto attack a couple time to get ur mana back . Ofc its not as comfortable as manamune but the whole point is to get W way faster to be unlocked and help ur team
Hey thanks for the awesome video! Any tipps against Trist? I find that matchup very hard since she has an awesome all in during lane, while still scaling very good into late game...
Trist is only annoying when she jumps on u. Here my 2 best tips into her : 1. When the lane is pushing towards u , let it push dont try to contest the trist 2. Stay near ur supp as much as possible , So they can react instantly when she tries to do anything u. 2.5 U can run exhaust if u want
if ur Talking about the essence reaver one , its actually way stronger than u think. u get a fast Q and W evolution and u can start one shotting ppl at 15 min in the game

U can go for it yes. Its not a must but if u have the gold for it it works fine

That was by far the most fun Kai'Sa ever was. That and Manamune > Nashor > Death's Dance > AP. Surely, that was peak Kai'Sa Midgame.

HoB and the domination tree got nerfed for champs like kaisa soo much at this point it’s simply is never worth it
