I completely agree it being delayed by a couple more weeks it’s good cause it means it not ready so they need more time and everyone should respect their decision as making games is hard and already they have so much pressure

After how many unfinished games have been released lately, I, for one, am for the delay. The Jedi series deserves to be done right, and if they feel like they need 6 more weeks to do it justice, I'm perfectly happy to wait! It's gonna be EPIC at launch!
As you say, Respawn has earned our trust with their releases thus far. If they say this is just polishing and bug fixing, I'm cool with it. Especially as it gives my wife and I an extra month or two to get through Hogwart's Legacy before diving into Jedi: Survivor.
I'm busy with exams on this new release week so that sucks for me but I think they did a good move on delaying it because it shows they care about the game and also that means that it would've launched as a buggy mess in March.

Honestly, you could just replay the entirety of Jedi: Fallen Order and then start up Jedi: Survivor when you finish. A 6 week pushback isn't that bad.
Though it is definitely a shame, I do think it's good that publishers have started to listen to the developers. If a game needs some more time to get the bugs ironed out, gamers will happily wait. We don't want another Cyberpunk.

Jedi Survivor kind of needs the delay so they can work on some bugs and stuff, I myself noticed some problems with the animations in the latest trailer.
Finally bruh, was starting to think I was the only one noticing these, the game has really good potential and it just so unsatisfying not seeing it reach it
Man in what world is a delay bad? Yeah it sucks but I'd rather it be well made and well done as opposed to a mess. Plus, now it comes out a day after my birthday so happy birthday to me!

I hope they worked on the controls. Sliding down those rampa and grabbing the ropes was the most frustrating thing. I would groan every time I had to do that stupidity.
I really hope you start with all the fight abilities you finished with at the end of the first game and go on to unlock even greater ones in the new game!
I have full confidence in Respawn. They are one of the last few AAA companies that really know how to make good games. If they need extra time then give it to them. Be patient. It'll be worth it.
Hopefully there's side quest to make the game more relevant when you finish main missions, plus hopefully better skins

Happy to see devs ready to delay games and take the time they need to release a polished and finished product instead of a half assed mess of a game which has become the status quo over the last few years. Making a good product should always be prioritised over meeting a deadline.

They are willing to accept that the game wasn’t ready for the original date so now that it’s pushed back 6 weeks I am confident that this pushback is going to be worth it

Star wars Jedi survivor being delayed can be a good thing because it gives them more time to work on the game but the end of the day being delayed can cause more pressure on respawn to make mistakes and try to hurry the game up but at the end of the day it would cause being being delayed can cause more pressure on them but they will make it a great game at the end of the day. But we all know EA doesn't care about there games as long as they make money.but respawn hopefully will make It amazing and make stupid EA wake up and realize that there games aren't just for money they are for the players enjoyment

Come on guys, it's now only a month after it's announcement which is only two months away. If you gotta job like me, that time will fly in a heartbeat. Not to mention that's 10 days after my birthday, I'm perfectly fine with that.
This is good news! Gives me time to enjoy Deadspace remake on replay and RE4 remake for a strong month before I fully focus on Jedi Survivor. You guys know what I mean 😅. So many games out the 1st and 2nd quarter of this year.

I don’t think it’s a disaster and I believe people are just tired of premature release dates. Especially delays like a month prior to release. The games industry as a whole seems to be incapable of hitting dates anymore.
I've been negative towards this delay because I don't want to be disappointed when we actually get the game in hand. Cyberp-ahem- 20*cough* *cough*
But if I keep my expectations low, I end up extremely surprised when the game delivers and surpasses expectations. Dead Space Remake is a good example.

Anyone making this out the be a disaster needs to take a breath and cut the drama. Games should not be released in an incomplete state. Release the game when its ready, make it worthwhile. And thank you for deciding to delay it to do it right.

No way they’re still working on this game. This is all PR talk they just don’t want release it the same month as Resident Evil 4. My problem is these companies are getting to bold with these delays to close to releasing. That’s just my opinion

Say it again for the people in the back: DELAYS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS A GOOD THING! Yes, it’s inconvenient that we don’t get the game sooner but I would pick getting a damn near perfect game later over getting a good game sooner any day of the week.
