Hi, thanks so much for naming the tune. I'll replace my placeholder with that title. If you happen to know the titles for the rest of the "Douglas Fulton Composition" pieces, I'd appreciate if you'd let me know.
It would be my guess that guessing Douglas Fulton learned music rather than discovered through play? it's very much his own style but it seems very much a confident understanding of music in a way you get from learning traditionally. Anyway I love his work
I had this, but on the Apple ][ instead of the Commodore 64. With a Mockingboard it sounded great. The sound was not as rich as the Commodore 64, but it could play more than three notes at a time. With the built-in Apple ][ speaker it at least made a valiant attempt, and was one of the few programs capable of playing two notes at the same time (this took all the CPU power it had, and it could no longer scroll the screen to match up with the music).
I found out Will Harvey ported Marble Madness to C64 and Apple II! Some of the Douglas Fulton tracks here sound a LOT like those Marble Madness tracks. I can’t imagine that’s a coincidence. Was he involved in both?
OMG. Been searching for this stuff for decades!
Glad to oblige. Thanks for watching and commenting!
OMG! This brought me back to the 80s! 🎼 🎶 🎵
I remember that Douglas Fulton composition at 3:25 was originally titled "Opera" on the disk. I was obsessed with this program on my C64.

Had Deluxe for the Apple IIGS, along with Music Studio. Lots of fun to play with.
I did great things with this program and my Tandy 1000... to think I could've started a year or two earlier on C64!
I’ve missed these songs.
My favourite is the psychotic version of Turkey in the Straw.
13:21 There's that Racket song I loved as a kid!

I got to find this music creating program to my
Commodore 64.
I still have DELUXE MUSIC CONSTRUCTION SET (Electronic Arts) for my Amiga 500 😺👍.
Very cool!
Very easy to find.
It is in TOSEC.

Neat, thanks for sharing your experience with the program on the Apple II!

I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else around here knows.
Yeah, that one at 7:06 screams Marble Madness.
