I remember a guy friend of mine telling me once that women bring out the best in men and make them want to embrace their full potential. What a beautiful power we have to do good! Also, I am praying for Andrew and all of his intentions! 🙏

As a man of (admittedly inconsistent) faith, I think one reason is that the Christian faith is all about being vulnerable and opening up both to God and to others in the Church, which is something that a lot of men really struggle with - we're taught to be strong and independent all the time, never show signs of weakness or rely on other people (this is also why there's such a crisis around mental health among men). Any faith that teaches that we're broken and in need of healing, or that we need to lean on others in order to truly live, is going to be harder for men to connect with because it goes against our instincts of control, strength and independence.

Loved this video! I asked my boyfriend about this same question, and he said that many young men are so caught up in tangible experiences that society tells them will “make them a man” and don’t seek anything beyond what they can directly experience with their senses. They’re trying to fill a God-sized hole with human pleasures. The idea that this will bring happiness or fulfillment is such a lie! Thank you Andrew for being an example of true masculinity ❤️ I’m praying for you and for all men, that they might seek to do God’s work in their lives. 🙏🏼

Being a 21 year old man, a lot of guys simply long for gratification / love without even realizing it. A lot of guys are told emotions aren't a sign of a strong man, so they learn to ignore / numb them down. They don't want to risk having faith because they could possibly be embarrassed / let down even more.
Luckily I have been able to realize that we are made for true love and fulfillment and joy. Once a guy encounters Jesus and learns that following Him isn't a compromise but actually living live to the full, they are absolutely on fire and cannot be stopped.
It's sad trying to teach this to my parents because they brought me to mass every week growing up but they just don't get it. Their hearts are numb, and they try to tell me to "come back to reality". Pray for my family and also my discernment into the seminary🙏

I think it’s because of our culture nowadays, specifically the obsession with sex and the disdain for marriage. Since sadly few women nowadays expect men to marry them or to even treat them with respect before giving them their body, many men don’t see the need for faith, family values, and marriage when they can get women and sex for free. Things are changing and more women are realizing how harmful promiscuity is to your body and your soul, but because young men watch a lot more pornography than women do and face less consequences after choosing the wrong sex partner, it’s not so many men that wake up and change their morals. Honestly, the more virtuous women there are with standards, the more men will change. I no longer consider myself Christian but I enjoy your videos. Much love

I love how you called it the slow work of Christ. It reminded me once again that Gods timing is best and it also helps me with waiting for the right guy in whom Gods work has made quite some progress instead of hoping for someone to change who is still at the starting line with his journey with God or someone who didn't come to this point at all.

I feel as if young men yearn to be reckless and wild to a certain extent when they are young. Because of this, they almost rebel from the faith a little, but eventually (and hopefully) come around to it! I suggest every young man reads Wild at Heart by John Eldredge!

It would be cool if someone would write a book or podcast on authentic masculinity and being an integrated man. Most sources I've seen focus on what a man shouldn't do but rarely talk about what he should do.

I never comment on videos but have to say thank you Emily & Andrew - this is perfect!! Especially the part about the meaning of man in Greek being “to remember” - mind blown!! 🤯 The Lord was speaking to me about something similar yesterday, about how it’s important for not only men to protect women, but for women to look out for each other (since we know how society is) & teach those that are younger. I also think modern society thinks that the Bible is a book that oppresses & demonizes women, but throughout the Bible, as Andrew said, it’s crystal clear that Jesus loves women, as he highlights our unique nature, abilities, strength, faith, & beauty SO many times in scripture. We just have to value ourselves & believe the truth of what God says about us 💕✨

How fitting, that Zion came to pray with you, for our Lord says, "Where two or MORE are gathered in My Name, I am in the midst of them. And their prayer shall be granted by My Father." Wow! Amazing! God bless you Andrew, thank you for sharing your requests. You will be in my daily Rosary prayers and all seminarians! Much love from California!

Men just need to be held accountable more. Like you've mentioned, there's a lot of fathers that walk away. But it's sadly accepted by everyone. If a woman abandons her child, it's a huge scandal. But sadly it's seen as "it happens" when men do it. Women are held to higher standards, that's why they're more pious I think.

When one of your favorite youtubers seems to read your mind 👀 so many women marry outside the faith because of this. For me, the first thing the man I marry must be is a Christian. Second he mustn't be too tall 🤣 oh yeah he must handle my obsession with sports (football in particular) and classic shows, movies, music. Lol

It’s incredibly difficult for men to balance desire of making transcendental impact on the world, while also understanding their role as the bride of Christ. And in fact the latter is the foundation of the former. Sometimes heroic sacrifices leads to self-idolising, it has been a perpetual struggle for me.

Well,I'm sure men would say the same thing, I think it's also relative to where you live. And probably this opinion is due to the fact that both men and women look first to whom they are phisically attracted; Also most of the time the more attractive people are not interested in faith issues.

I’m sorry bro, but the same could be said about women. Wanna have ‘fun’ and ‘hook up’ while they’re young instead of getting married young. We Godly men only want simple things from woman: is she fit, cooperative, feminine, beautiful. Simple .. but okay modern women lack the 3 first already. Feminism had done a lot of damage in the world and sadly it’s alive in Christian community too.
