So, looking into it, the Sacramento Waldorf School is an antivax liberal arts K-12 school, that doesn't have any sports teams, save for a girl's soccer team. Online reviews also seem to hint at some odd mystical and racist ideologies.
Loved seeing one in New Hampshire make the list! Another weird one in New Hampshire is Humiston Field in Jaffery. I played on this field as part of the visiting team, it's home to the Conant High School Orioles. Before 2011, right field was a super short porch due to trees marking a property line. Now it's been moved out but there's a building in play in right and you can see in the grass where the right field fence used to be. Left field is really far out as they also play soccer and football in the outfield. I'd love to see this field make the cut for the next video!
Bro, that first one was like an optical illusion jump scare. I did not notice it at all. I was looking at the diamond next to it thinking "that looks fine, i dont see anything weird about it." Then when he pointed out the infield inside the track I was like "OH GOD! WHY?!"
I know this won’t make the list, but Finger Lakes Community College is genuinely my favourite baseball stadium out there. It has a soccer field in the outfield, and while this means the furthest to the right and left field is stupidly far, at least it is even and fair for both left and right handed hitters. Also, the distance to centre field is actually normal which I love.
3:20 At Poly Tech, the “fence” isn’t perpendicular to the trajectory of the ball. So if the ball hits it, it doesn’t bounce back into the field, it actually continues further into left (or right) field.
I played on the South Bronx field in 2003 for a playoff game in NYC. They set up a temporary fence at maybe the 30 yard line. I nearly hit one out. Still wish I was a lefty though.
8:39 - Ayo, I asked my friend in Utah if she went to Highland High School since she’s from Highland and she told me that Highland isn’t in Highland, it’s in Salt Lake City. I demand retribution! (Jk, love your content man)
I've mentioned this field a few times, but Central Park D1/D2 deserves to be on a list like this. It's 2 baseball diamonds at opposite ends of a field with a cricket pitch in the middle (and no outfield fences). If you rotate the wicket 90 degrees, it looks like a giant TF. Angela White would approve
I'm concerned that Trona high school's football field appears to be only 40 yards wide or so, which makes me think it's a regulation length 8-man or 6-man field.
I think I once played a game on that North Arlington HS field. It was about 30 years ago and was before the track was put in, but I remember that short right field just against the river There's also a hilariously misshapen field-in-a-field here in Bayonne that's used for Little League. The current dimensions are 181 (possibly, see later) to RF, 217 to CF and just 140 to LF but with a higher fence... and the warning track looks as wide as THIRTY-FIVE FEET at points. Also, it appears that the right field foul area stops at around 156 ft, so there is about 25 feet of wall that is technically in fair territory that is just along the foul like. But the crazy part is the field this was built on. The fence from the LF pole to center was only about 8 feet, but the fence from CF to the RF pole is around 25 feet, maybe 30, in order to protect the houses sat right behind it (but just on the other side of some train tracks) The dimensions of this field? 181 to RF, 163 to LF.... and *351* to CF
My old high school did that first one, but no running track, just really tall fences because there's houses across the street. New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY (Fun fact: the outdoor shot for the school in the original Welcome Back Kotter used this school.)
fun fact steve wozniack's dad was the quarterback at cal tech when they had a team. imagine if steve the woz invented techno bowl to impress his dad lol
Cal Tech is D3. Regardless of the stadium quality, they host other name brand academic schools in the Non-con including UChicago and Oberlin. Because it don't snow there in February
This guy sounds familiar
He stole your flow. Line for line. Bit for bit.😂
You guessed it: Frank Stallone

Bro, step off.
Sounds like a dude that wants to build a shed
13:20 That takes "sandlot" baseball to another level, right there.
I love this shit. Weird stadiums, cool/shitty architecture, etc
I Always enjoy the weird stadium breakdowns

He brings us more stadium vids. More measurements. More quality dad jokes. Today was a good day.

This was so satisfying
For Highland High School, the land behind the field is actually a big park. There are trails and stuff going through there that just don't show up.
If anything, this shows the versatility of baseball. You just shove a field in anywhere.
Just like your mom

Lol
@@FivePointsStadiums It's in Burlington, ON, Canada, in case you're wondering
Your mom knows what happens when you rotate the wicket 90 degrees.
Do Mendenhall Middle School in Greensboro
Screw the NFLs International Series. MLB should give us the Small Stadium Series. I wanna see like a 50 point game with some of these fences so close
Check the stadium in Tocopilla (Chile), basically a baseball field crammed in a soccer pitch

More awesomeness!
one of the weirdest diamonds ive ever played at is Maurice Belanger Park in Windsor Ontario, and Thompson Park in Riverside Ontario
I was hoping Jack Yates HS in Houston, TX would be on here. I had the displeasure of seeing their field every day for two years while I went to TSU.

12:05 - that's an intake for the dam. Just FYI
The first one is surely a very efficient use of space.
That first school…..wow…..just wow…..
Cal Tech is D3. Regardless of the stadium quality, they host other name brand academic schools in the Non-con including UChicago and Oberlin. Because it don't snow there in February
3:46 Cal Tech is a D3 school (but definitely D1 in academics)
Look at Cottage Hill Christian Academy's field in Mobile, Alabama.
XHHW+HF5 Uniontown, Ohio
has a pretty weird field
Check out Toms River South High School in NJ
You have to take a look at Mt holyoke colleges fields in south Hadley ma
Ok if you look at the 360 view at Grosse Allmend, they do put temporary fences in the outfield
Somewhat near me there’s a Bantom field for 15u that’s 500+ to dead center
This guys sounds like 5 points smoked a J and tossed the script. I'm here for it.
Check out the high school baseball field in Anson, TX.
Don't know if you've reviewed it yet, but Riegel Stadium in Ware Shoals SC is simultaneously weird and awesome at the same time.
I've played Rounders on that pitch in Taunton. I don't think it's used for Baseball. I've seen Ultimate Frisbee played on that field too.
“I’ve played rounders on that pitch” may be the most British sentence I’ve ever heard. 😂
I believe they used to play baseball there, but the team moved last year. I played baseball in Taunton this year, but not on that diamond.
Um, the Punahou "partial fence in left field" appears to be a backstop for an unmarked field that would overlap the one being critiqued.
Again the Hawaiian pronunciations are still on point 😂👌
Assuming i butchered it like a slaughterhouse in winter
@@FivePointsStadiumsYour pronunciation of Punahou is correct. Aloha from Pahoa, Hawai'i and Mahalo for da video🤙🏼🌴🌋
@@FivePointsStadiums You were off by just a tiny bit and close. The end of Punahou is pronounced as HO. Not how. 😃
Its also Obama's alma mater.
@@PunaSquirrel I never heard it pronounced that way, the whole time I lived there everyone pronounced it a puna-ho not puna-how
1300 feet is shorter than it seems when the wind is blowing out to left.
That poor Highland softball field
have you done Sam Davis Park in Pulaski, TN?
Maybe take a look at Oakwood HS in Dayton, Ohio.
Seeing these make me understand why neither of my two submissions were used. These make those look like the MLB cookie-cutters by comparison.
lol the WTF is a kilometer sound
Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio has some weird dimensions.
First one makes no sense especially when you consider the fact there looks to be a perfectly good field next door.
What about fields in Alaska
ManScape should be sponsoring this video lol
Highlands christian in deerfield beach weird field
he said deep lol
They don't play baseball on that field at the Waldorf School, that's where the gnomes live
Caltech is most definitely NOT D1 😂
Better at 2x speed
Lol do what ya gotta do
Of course cal tech’s baseball field got a weird ass baseball field. Excellent academics but their athletics have not performed well in the SCIAC.
Why build a moon colony when we already have Trona?
39°54'44"N 75°11'10"W
This is by far the shittiest field
Sunset field, Brentwood California. I hit a homer there so check it out plz?
lake francis looks like a pig chia pet
No shit!
It's just Gremlins. Not The Gremlins.
“The Gremlins” will be the craptastic 100% CGI “reboot” in 2026. Probably.
