The PF in my area is actually a good gym. Well kept, the machines are all in excellent shape. I workout in the morning an the staff is constantly busy cleaning the bathrooms, machines, and floors at that time of the morning so I can see they put in the effort. Like they said for the price you can't ask for better...
I thought there was also some sort of administration fee not just the 25 a month like a 50 or $60 administration fee and I also heard it's really hard to cancel the membership or it can be a hassle
The maker of this video is completely wrong, every Planet Fitness I have been in has weight lifting equipment including Olympic Barbells and weight plates to go as heavy as You want to.
I like it. Staff is really cool. None of the stuff you see in these hatchet piece Hate PF videos, most of which are very old footage. I'm a 59 year old average guy, 175 pounds, 34 waist, maintained by good eating and working out at PF, something every day, arms, legs, waist, butt, cardio, proper recovery time for each muscle group. Never seen pizza, free or otherwise except across the street at Davenports. No, you won't be asked to leave for lifting heavy, just don't be an ass hat. True, it is not for professional body builders. They Y is more for them at 60 dollars a month. PF is for everyman to do something for themselves instead of expanding behind a desk.
I don't think this guy has EVER gone into an actual Planet Fitness. Every planet fitness has free weights and machines. Also, the Black card gives you access to The tanning and all the other perks. This guy knows NOTHING! The hours are TERRIBLE, though. The weekend hours are 7-7. I like to work out after 7 so I can't use it on the weekend. To me, it's not worth it.
Right off the bat I can't trust the review, when you want to claim something is "Cheap" but your only reason to say that is the price itself then literally everything is cheap. You need to compare the prices to other memberships, buying the equipment itself over however long it would take to pay for it with the membership. Imagine knowing nothing about cars, going to a dealership and them saying "This car is super cheap it's ONLY $20k" like ok but how do you know that's cheap?
Black card member here, the membership also allowed me to use clubs in Canada.

i joined and there machines break down all the time, and they gardly ever fix them, showers are not hot and they have a stupid bag policy
