CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby! He's gorgous and has some great genetics behind him. Lilly's babies are beautiful. I kept your secret when I heard Derick's voice say "howdy goat lovers" in your last video.🐐
I was watching the BCDG video of them announcing their new homes and saw Heather from Kentucky, I was like "...she did NOT but omg I hope she did". Congratulations on the new addition!!
Wowow! Congratulations on your beautiful blue cactus buck! Lily is such a stunning doe, and I can't wait to see the udders that little man brings to your farm 💕 A blue cactus goat has been a dream of mine for at least 6 years now 😅 And I'm so happy to see others share my love for Crystals hard work.
How exciting!! Wow! Blue Cactus has awesome animals! The travel they do is quite extensive just to deliver their animals. There is a farm near me that produces some amazing quality goats. I was able to purchase two does and a buck from them.
I love it! Blue Cactus is the best! We lived in the desert of UT so I followed her. Then we moved to So MO so it is great to follow you. We know both climates for sure!
That I'd awesome!! I watch that channel for 2 years now that's awesome and I watched all the births so I probably saw your new goats birthday ! I couldn't see Darren or Derick that well but I could hear the voice and the dad sings in all the vlogs and it's so nice to hear. He has that country singers voice ❤
It was late and so we could only rely on the street lights at the gas station! Haha I'm glad the audio was good enough to make up for the bad video quality in the dark! ♥
@@SageandStoneHomestead how is the new goat doing with the electric fence ? He is a cute and I love the names you give them 💗 I been watching you longer and as soon as you post I am right there watching..lol it was so sweet to give him a hat . I have noticed they don't post that much anymore I know Crystal wanted to down size so she can put them in shows and be able to be with her family more. The last vacation she couldn't go with the whole family. Crystal had to stay behind to take care of her babies. I can understand I would stay behind too and still let my family have fun. Do you get to do much outside your Homestead? I know it's not easy unless you have family members that could help you.
Hello from Western Pennsylvania 😊...I came on over from BCD to see which baby goat you purchased and you got a beauty!!❤..I just subscribed because you seem to be the kind of channel that i want to watch😊.Guess i will have to go back and figure out where to start watching 😊
@@SageandStoneHomestead if I love blue cactus I'll love yours 😂 I loved that you were so excited to get the goat it was contagious and made me laugh just what I needed at that time 🙂👍🏻
I had to giggle at each "zap" and Nefarious's goaty expletives. I grew up with horses, and the first time we put an electric fence wire on the inside of the pastures (to keep the gelding from pawing the hog wire fencing) it was quite funny to us to watch how each reacted to the "zap". Our gelding was by far the most reactive, as he touched his bare (wet from just drinking water) nose against the wire and it sounded almost as loud as a firecracker! He jumped back and immediately began bucking across the pasture, making noises that make just about all children laugh with each outward kick. 🌪
Congratulations!!! Your new buckling looks awesome!! I always thought your goats looked good, but have to admit this guy is in another class!! How wonderful to be able to upgrade with Blue Cactus bloodlines!! Maaika always says, "get as good a doe as you can but step above & beyond to get your bucks because they will upgrade the herd far better & faster than good does. The bucks will make or break your herd quality." God bless!
Jeather How awesome is this! Nefarious is absolutely beautiful and it's so cool you got him from Blue Cactus Dairy goats! Derrick and Daron work very hard with deliveries of such amazing stock/goats. Tough job/early hours driving the distances they do in such a short amount of time, but I am quite sure that they get to really have that great opportunity to experience driving through the countryside. It will be amazing to see what nefarious brings to your farm and to you're already beautiful herd!
Congratulations on Nefarious! I watched the lottery/announcement Blue Cactus videos too so was pretty sure when I heard Heather in KY that it was you! (Plus I think you gave a couple small hints awhile back.) Hahaha. He looks amazing, and glad to see he's adjusting well and happy. He will be wonderful for your breeding program.
Lily and Vader make some gorgeous babies and being a Lily buck he’s related to Lucky and Lucky was a awesome buck you got a good one Heather and I love his hair on the top of his head he looks like he’s going to have a flat top he’s adorable!!
So excited for you to have thaT BCDG boy. He will be a stunning addition to your herd. Following you from BCDG. I love Crystal and her family even though I don’t have goats myself, it’s still so interesting watching her develop such an outstanding herd. And the information she shares is amazing.
Congratulations! I love watching BCDG’s videos, Crystal does such a good job explaining all things dairy goats! Maybe one day Derek could make a trip to SE GA and bring us an awesome surprise ☺️
Im so glad to have found someone who purchased a Blue Cactus goat. His name is neat - Nefarious. I will watch you, even though I’m retired and live in an apartment, I hope to be able to do that on your videos. I love animals, goats particularly and two different sheep channels. I lived in farm country in Vermont and grew up on and around farms so it’s enjoyable to me. Crystal was my first goat channel and I’ve been watching a few since. It’ll e fun watching one of her goats grow elsewhere.❤️🥰👍
He is a beautiful boy!! I love his little black bangs and white spot on his chin. I will have to go back into BCDG's playlist to see if anything was documented at his birth. I'm sure he is loving all the green goodies growing around his new home. Easing him into the lush grass was probably a good idea!!! I look forward to seeing more of him in the near future!!! Thanks for sharing and stay safe!!
I am so happy that you came across to my suggest to watch. I've been following BCDGs for over 4 years now and I am excited to watch how Nefarious adapts to your farm and the offspring that will be ahead. Can't wait 😊
Hi Heather and congratulations on your new beautiful boy!! I never knew you were from Florida. I live in Safety Harbor and work in St Petersburg. We’re you born here? I was born in Dunedin! Not too many native Floridians here anymore❤
As a Nebraska farm, I think it's pretty cool that Darren voted for Nebraska as his favorite state they drove through ☺️ Congratulations on the new buckling!

I'm realizing now as a newish goat owner I should've asked more questions about the parent's parasite resistance because I have struggled with it since day one! I didn't know any better and didn't know it could be hereditary. I guess you live and learn.
Yes in my experience it can definitely be a hereditary thing, but I'm seeing that even in one generation it can be made so much better (or worse, depending)!!
