Can we Hunt on Government Lands? I know yellow means public land for hunting i was just wondering if we can hunt on the green goverment land/national forest
Hi, I live in Sausalit0, CA. When I launch the App, I see my house and the surrounding terrain. Fine...But how do I view BLM land in say Shasta or Trinity County? Do I have to actually be there to see the local terrain? Please . . I've searched far and wide, and all I get are lectures on "Layers." What Layer? I'm in Marin, and I want to look at possible Quail territory way North of me. Signed Dazed and Confused
@@DIYHunter I know. Its a stupid question but National Forest land is the same as BLM basically right but may have a different set of rules for hunting? Basically what I'm asking is National Forest Land Public?
Most Forest land in the west is public, but when you are choosing your hunts certain states and even certain units have different rules and regs for use on that public use land. Example: Wyoming statute says nonresidents must have a licensed guide or resident companion to hunt big or trophy game in federally designated wilderness areas. ... The law does not prohibit nonresidents from hiking, fishing or hunting game birds, small game, or coyotes in wilderness areas. These wilderness areas will be in green but will be designated by Name of wilderness area and a slashed line pattern. Hope this helps

Onx is so much a part of my scouting and hunting.
Billy Jones it’s kind of crazy i don’t know what we did without It. Our western trips would go much different
Thank you for making this video, looking forward to watching more of this onx series.
Thanks, Jerry!
A tip: watch series at kaldrostream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.

Animal alphabet
Why does your public land look like that and mine is black line with red dots? It drives me nuts. Can't use it if all the features are dotted out
Not entirely sure what exactly that means to try and help
the lines are the monitors pixels being caught on the refresh rate by your camera. its normal
there actually the LED over head lights we unfortunately figured it out after the fact, these dslrs are not big fans of the LED light bulbs.
I know this is an old video but do you know if onx can show where water sources are? Springs, creeks etc
mtguy234 it tries to, but trust me when i say there won’t always be water especially in higher elevations pending what type of snowfall they had
Thank you. Good hunting!

There’s an actual button called layers. Go to the state of California. And turn on the public land layer
How do I enter lat/long?
I've been told the Green Area just means its forest. So is it public or not? I'm confused by that part.
Rick Howard It specifically lists private land outlined by red and labels who owns It
