Not even fully optimised and still this strong, what a weapon
Even Mr. 18 inches can't withstand the thiccness of a crucible knights greatsword INCONCEIVABLE!!!
Fromsoft nerfing BB and DK Cragblade: 🤡Ordovis GS in the corner:
Bonus points if you combine it with Endure on a small off-hand weapon to gain more damage reduction and poise while using the Vortex
Reason why i main this weapon
Maybe I should've stuck with my STR/FTH build than going to DEX/ARC for Messmer when I got stuck on his fight for 3 hours, yesterday
If you had a samouraï build Dex os good too. He didn't really like bleeding
Another god tier str/fth weapon is the golden Halberd, it takes until Malikeths Black Blade to finally get outpaced in damage.
Now do it with the new hammer. Been able to push 10k out of that thing myself

the hammer is actually weaker and does less poise dmg. They should have gave Devonia a different ash.

The hammer does less full charge stance damage but does more raw damage, can't get the great sword to match the raw damage despite same build, pluss the hammer pancakes enemies to the ground!
Just beat Messmer today with this Greatsword
Which hits harder: Ordovis Greatsword ash of war, or one handrd R2 from Ghiza Wheel?

it's a hornsent weapon though.
why does messmer have 0 holy damage negation

Lore reason: Abyssal Serpent, Shorn of Light. His curse naturally doesn't allow him protection from holy as holy is the element of light.
Not sure about that cape on the back. Is it even drip?
Capes are always drippy fat boy
