    Hi
This was PITA to resolve... but, I got it sorted in the end!
The car came in limp mode, not revving above 3k and very sluggish...
It ended up by being among other issues, a faulty IC in the actually ECU, engine control module, which luckily I kinda had the parts to get it repaired.
Follow me on this video to see how I got the the bottom of the problem, and how to resolve it.
The car came with other issues though, in case you want to those repairs the links are below...

I have seen it all. It was a very good diagnosis and a superb repair, not just replacing ECUs but fixing them.

Watched the whole show. Great! One thing I really wanted to see though, was soldering the new/used chip back on. Thanks

Another great video for all auto technicians ... where electric meets with electronic ... don't you have any cases not with happy ending ... you should have some , but its natural that you release the ones that are succesfully repaired , thanks for sharing ,

My DIY skills are nowhere near this level. But I watched it to the end. I think I will never do anything similar when repairing cars :-)

Great work you've done there. I would recommend you were an antistatic wrist strap while working with sensitive electronics. Also please remove the plastic protective sheet from your beautiful UNI-T multimeter, so it will be easier to be read by the camera. Again, thanks and great work!

for chips like this you can use chip quick or higher leaded solder to dilute the solder,

Another great video. I have in the past used part of a split pin to replace a broken pin in a plug as the correct item was not available to me at the time. Keep up the good work.

Repairing a surface mount PCB by hand-amazing! As you say, replacing them is not cost effective.
