Introducing the all-new BMW M4!
That’s right, Mat’s finally got his hands on the new M4 Competition! We know certain elements (👀) of the M4’s design may not be to everyone’s taste, but does the new M4 offer enough changes elsewhere to help you overlook them?
Well with it being a BMW M, we need to start with performance… And we can assure you that the new M3 & M4 do NOT disappoint! With a 3-litre straight-six turbo, they can put down a whopping 510hp and 650Nm, while it can easily shoot you to 60mph in under 4 seconds!
But of course, we know you’re probably still not happy with that new grille. But let’s be honest, given it was announced so long ago, aren’t we all kind of used to it now? Or are you still so disappointed you can’t bear to look yet?

I've gone from hating that grille with a passion to really liking it. Especially on the M4. It works much better on the M than the 440. It looks great in that color and the car is a beast.

Depends on what you're looking for in a shoe. If you want a shoe that's comfy to wear and does its job you might not care much about its looks.

Most of the sports cars rear seats are bonkers, unusable. I like the practicality of the car with good boot space and rear seats that are really good to sit on. One thing I would like to see laserwire or wire-leds in the back lights like the new M4 CSL. I like this car so much. This will definately give a good mpg. And will prove the best daily driven car.

This car is beautiful at first I hated the front grill but recently I saw the 440i in person the grill doesn’t look bad like everyone thinks

I love the new front grille design of BMW M4. It looks ferocious!
There was no doubt the M4 was going to be a great car, given the design. As it’s been consistently given max thumbs up against its true rivals, I expect we’ll get used to the face through exposure, just like Bangles wonderful, timeless E60.

I thought that initially, but I think it will be a future classic. We are entering a generation of electric, where grills will be a thing of the past. Creating the biggest functional grill on a car could be a homage to what has come before it. Eventually they will just be blanked out.

without a license plate it looks horrific, but i started to accept it when it has it and it doesnt look that bad. for me the headlight shape does it, it doesnt look bmw ish anymore

@@CrazyGopnik1 im pretty sure it will be similar, the biggest advantage with carbon ceramics is that it doesn't fade as quickly so it's more effective in lap times

Whether BMW hit it or not with this car, in terms of the styling, they did act boldly, it is fresh looking, and looks far more like what it is, a high performance sport coupe, or a highly advanced muscle car, and having seen several presentations of the car, it is starting to appeal to me. Mechanically and dynamically all say it is outstanding and a substantial improvement over the last generation. Interior is smart, switch gear is refined, room for four, sizable trunk, e-lsd. Now if it was truly beautiful and embodied the silhouette of a glorious creature of prey wouldn't it be smashing!

It's been quite a long long loooooong while since I've seen Matt loving a car this much. He could hardly contain his excitement throughout the entire video. Great car indeed. ❤
Stunning car. I also didn't like the front/grill of the new 4 series at the start, and I still don't really love it on the normal 4, but on this M4 I think it really fits and is glorious. RS4 and AMG C63 look bland in comparison, imo. A sportscar should be allowed to look extravagant!
Kind of reminds me of the 2020 CLA AMG series, body shape wise.
