I was hating so much on the new M3/M4 front design for years. But I noticed a change in me the last months, as I saw a few blacked out M3's on the streets. Then finally I drove one for two days, and I got nothing but love for them now. I even like the front design. Bald move BMW! Respect
@@provigilandchill I think it looks good in this colour as well. I think a lot of BMW fans are just conservative and don't like too much change. Maybe the design will age well, it's possible. The E60 was controversial when launched, but later grew on people.
What they did with the Grille in this Version definitely looks much better despite being the same Size! And as usual, it's a fantastic Car and shows BMW Engineering is still amazing even if some of the Designs are a bit out there Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
This car is absolutely amazing! I was lucky enough to have a connection at a BMW dealership and recently picked up one in frozen solid white with the bronze wheels and the carbon ceramic brake option. I also own a 2023 Z06, both amazing machines. The M3 CS challenges the Z06 both in the corners and at the Dragstrip. The M3 CS is a great daily driver and the tech is also incredible! I absolutely love it! If you can find one, buy it now, don’t wait for a touring (if they even build one). Great video!
Seats, shiny interior , splitter , stering wheel are great performance additions! You are fishing there! And stability control should not be change at high speed! Great car hands down!

Yes , it seems to be the best M3 ever built, waiting for the M3 CS Touring. I am a great fan of the RS4 . I truly regret that AUDI don't try to make a more powerful RS 4 . It will be interesting to see what the M3 CS provide on track (ring) . Thank you for this video MAT.
I think it's got less to do with exclusiveness as opposed to cost. At £116,000 in the UK, it's already a fair chunk more than the competent Competition pack. Adding in fixed OEM rear bucket seats wouldn't have been cheap and would likely have pushed the M3 CS's price up even further. Is the price difference worth its weight over the standard cars? Find an owner to answer that question. Another reason to get the brilliant M5 CS over this -- rear bucket seats or not -- is simply because some people prefer V8's over other configurations.
carwow should have a section of the video where they test the sound system of the cars and give it a rating, especially with all these optional harman/kardon, burmester, bowers & wilkins, b&o etc systems that costs in the thousands.

As usual with BMW.. i actually like the styling now after getting used to it. Even in this bright color i start to like the grill where it used to be only dark colors that made the grill bearable to look at. I like it now.
Yes, the back looks great. BMW = great seats, great suspension, fast and strong engine, but ... is the worst pile of garbage ever made. The cars are so unreliable, electrical issues, oil burners and other little things. We owned many, never again
I was one of the 1st to purchase a g80 M3 ,they are an absolutely great car very fast ,i was gutted that a few months later the 4wd version came out, it feels a premium car with so many features ,but ultimately you can buy a 10 year old nissan gtr that has the same power and performance , I sold mine within 6 months in comfort mode its still like a go cart
So from what I can tell you could buy a normal M3, have it mapped and you'd basically have the same car aside the carbon bonnet and exhaust. Given you can't really use the most sports mode anyway (practically) on the road here, would only be any good on the track or very rare occasions.. I don't think I'd be spending an extra £30k on something for just a "few extras" when the engine itself isn't actually modded. It's just mapped. £30k for a remap and bonnet and some calipers seems bit ridiculous to me. Money would be much better spend buying a normal M3 and spending £30k on modifications to engine, remap, exhaust, carbon etc, and you will end up with a faster and better car that is a monster and unique for same money.(or less depending what you do and cost)..

@@TheFoxfy thats not true even if your car has had the standard ECU map put back on, its VERY easy for manufacturers such as BMW to find historic data recorded on the ECU, such as the flash counter, and boost/ fueling /overrevs data logs. It not has a simple as flashing the stock map on at all.

Some years ago the E60 M5 was making 507 hp. with a N/A V10 and now the TT I6 is making 50 horses more with 40% less cylinders and 40% less cu. capacity. Stunning.
Damn, this is such a cool car. My favourite used to be the M4 CSL, but this, beats it. More practical, the front being more appriopriate with this body stile, increased practicality and better performance makes truly worth the buy. However, it appears that the supposed upcoming version will be even better. Was not expecting that plot twist though.

I'm bais of course a M3 comp owner but I don't think the CS cost is bang for your buck over the comp. You can install KW springs and a mild(cheap) tune and you have the CS for 10s of thousands less. That being said... im so happy bmw is the only manufacturer building enthusiast versions. Of course porshdors as well but a RS porche is made of "unobtanium". In 10 years we'll reminisce about cars like this. What a great time to be a car enthusiast

M3 Competition Touring is not only the M3 to get, but the BMW to get. It's just the best. Wagons are the pinnacle of cars. They can do everything SUVs claim to be able to do, but can't.
Usually the CS trims are the worse of the M line up. Also, BMW did not tuned the ECU better on this one. They actually did not tuned the ECU to its max potential on regular M model so they can sell this CS too.
I get so many more compliments in this rather then in my model s plaid. Head turning sound and just how different it looks from traffic. So much fun too drive man cant even explain it
The E30 M3 is my choice for the best M car ever, followed by the E28 M5. Manual transmissions, no annoying, interfering electronics nanny bs like traction & stability control, just you and the car. Vehicles you actually have to be able to drive to drive then
If it's a CS, I can live with a stiff suspension. If it's an M440i, I would probably want it a bit more comfortable over all bumps. The adaptive suspension on the 440i really surprised me tho, I thought it might be a bit gimmicky and was worried that I wouldn't be able to tell a difference, but as I was driving about 50mph, I ENGAGED SPORT+, the transmission dropped a gear and the small imperfections on the road became noticeable, but not harsh. My Man-boobs were the first to confirm that there is indeed a difference in ride quality between the Driving Modes, but damn did I get addicted to SPORT+
People keep calling HUD as Heads Up Display as if the driver has more than one head. It should be Head Up Display because that display is for the driver and the driver alone.
