Need a little help with my 2004 sportsman 500 ho... it's got 686 miles on it. Winter of 2022. I put a China aftermarket carb. That fixed my no start / run issue. Thing ran amazing. I didn't drive it much in 2023. But I would start it every few months and kept rec fuel in it... About 2 months ago I tried to start it, and it would run 30 seconds, then die. Then would not restart until left alone for a few days.... I can spray starting fluid down the intake, and it'll start and run until the starting fluid burns up. That tells me it's a fuel issue. Today I took the fuel line off that feeds the carb. Cranked it over thinking maybe the fuel filter was plugged and fuel was spitting out that line I just removed. I replaced it once and it took me a couple evenings if not 3 to get my meat hooks down in there. Was hoping there was a trick to it. I just replaced the battery last week because it was getting old and would not hold a charge. The rec fuel in there is only about 4-6 mo old. It will not even start at all anymore.
