Those are to scale NASCAR Gen7 Cup cars. Fully licensed. It is going to bring some of the ten million Cup fans to the hobby.
I agree. I’ve been playing with rc (traxxas) since I was around 10 and I lost interest a few years ago. But I’m a huge nascar fan and this had me spending money for sure lol
Mine is on order now I'm getting #12 mustang
Ryan Blaney
Losi told me the used metal diffs since they used the grom chassis and other parts. Definitely looks like they have plenty of room for upgrades and even other models with this 3rd grom chassis. So they have a SWB granite MWB typhon and this LWB Nascar. 🤔
Man, JT, I wished they would have just dropped a 10th scale with brushless. 😢😢😢
ikr....!
The losi nascar also has a fan for the motor and esc system I got mine on order now because I think the price will go up later 😮😎👍
Looks pretty good. I like it Jay👍👍👍👍
Going to layout a road course in my basement just for these to race my son lol
nice!
losi and arrma worked together on this
I’m definitely in. Lucas oil #8 😎
I am interested to see reviews on this ...the main thing is handling..we can always add power etc...
Might be dope for a vta class
I can tell you if a year after launch we have a club or two local running a series of these I'd consign my nitro car and spares and covert to electric for these.
It’s pretty much a typhoon grom chasis. I hope the next grom is fireteam or infraction.
TY 4 the "heads up/411". o7
I hope Arrma/ Losi make all the bodies Id love to have the M&M NASCAR. Happy RC"ing Y'all!!!
1RC has been doing scale oval cars for the past couple of years. 1/18th scale though. And they are generic cars, late model, midget, outlaw , modified etc.
Would be awesome if they made some throwback ones with older drivers.
If these cars are a big hit they are going to cost a lot more than $180 I'm thinking that price is a introduction price
Hope not
Yeah I saw that earlier today as well
I'm personally over the small scale stuff. It's been to much for to long. I get that building cheap stuff to attract new people to the hobby is good for business but everyone isn't looking to get in at the absolute bottom dollar. The Amazon/ Chinese companies have the small stuff handled pretty well. I want new 1/5 scale rigs. Gimme a giant 8s Typhon, bigger Mojave, and Infraction. Losi could offer large scale guys a bigger LMT to go with the smaller ones. I'm not into crawlers much but i have a SCX6 just because it's big and cool. There is a large scale market and aside from Arrma and Redcat it is being completely ignored. Before the Vigilante the xrt was the last new large scale platform and its still basically a slightly updated wide Xmaxx.
you are the minority, they make majority of their sales with these not the $1000 rigs
@@Murphys_Law9 maybe but there are a lot of us in the minority. Ask Redcat about how many of us ordered the Vigilante the day it was first announced and how many they have sold already. I betcha the numbers would be near identical even if the price was $999.
Traxxas is still selling tons of Xmaxx and it's basically the same truck it was on day one.
I also know from experience that when bashing in public places that the large scale rigs get much more attention and interest from passers by. I get ten times a many questions and compliments about one of my large scale than I do the smaller ones. They have the same halo effect for the brand as a Corvette does for Chevy.
Out of my small group of RC friends everyone has at least one large scale and most have multiple and I know for a fact the reason most of us don't own more is the lack of options. Several of us literally own every large scale rig currently offered. I personally do except the XRT only because I don't want it and the DBXLE because I sold mine.
At the same time only a couple of us have bought a Grom or any of the other new small releases.
Form my research - hobby stores hate storing big scale because of the amount of space they take up. At least smaller shops have told me this.
You’re getting views and subs while not even having a lot of these cars. Lol! That’s slick. Making videos using advertisements and getting paid. #hustle
big overpriced MEH
170 bucks rtr? With charger? How cheap are you? Target and Walmart sell rc cars go there if your not satisfied with a 170 price point
