The power of uproar isn't in the trading. It's in denying creeps. You get it when they are trying to push you out of lane so you can save a couple stacks and start denying them so you get a level advantage and then you can turn around and trample all over them.
I really like the playstyle on PB. My biggest problem is that I always feel like I fall off pretty damn hard when the game goes 25+ minutes. Unless I stomp hard in the early game I always feel like wet noodle in the late game. But damn the hero is fun!
After 15min mark you slow down the game and get your item after that you can ask for smoke to gank then after win or lose fight farm more means farm creeps push sidelanes not jungle then repeat
Hi, played Primal Beast here a several times, let me just give some additional tips in abusing his kit when playing him: 1. Primal beast's kit rotates around his Trample, even in the early phase REALLY matters when would you use it; use trample when the melee carry tries to farm; use trample to pressure with onslaught; and use trample when trying to farm. 2. Rush Phase Boots + Vanguard + Blade Mail, you'll need resistances instead of health in the first 20 minutes. 3. Early game is easier when you have a Blood Grenade when committing to a kill. 4. Playing against mages like zeus, rubick, and lina? Go Teardrop, will always save you from a burst damage 100%.
As a general rule for cores, the bare minimum you should aim for at minute 10 is 60 CS. 120 for minute 15, 200 for minute 20. Potentially higher if you're a core with innate farming abilities. You will improve a lot as a core player if you start watching your CS like a hawk and start putting everything you have into reaching those targets since you will quickly start to notice all the bad habits you have that keep you from reaching them.
@@fcarr101yeah its a standart when supports make 5-10 stacks till 12-14 min, even more than 200 when free lane and more stacks, but supps will never stack in mm so 200 is rare if you not naga/gyro/tb
What sells BSJ so well is that he doesn't give examples from pro plays! But rather uses his own replays and normal matches to give relevant advice and examples. We low level pubs can never hope to achieve team synergies, drafts, mechanical skills and timings of the real pros. So its really crucial that we get an advice that's down to earth.
Please start using recorded VoD rather than the twitch VoD for higher bitrate. If you already are, you can upsample the video to 1440p to get even higher bitrate. It really helps in Dota.
I love the fact that BSJ gives better advices and normal match replay examples, than commenting a pro match like gameleap where its not applicable to the pub games. And its free, keep up the good work myan.
on all gameleap videos, speed is analyzing a replay that a certain pro player or player did something very well and then comes in saying "its absolutely brokeen" which is not comparable at all with the reality, with the pubs of the average mmr player base which is 2-4k so you can say speed is very subjective. I always watch BSJ and BSJ is the best, has great logic and seems objective.
To add to this, speed is the type of content creator who values quantity over quality, while I'm not gonna knock down his hustle, it does knock down the quality of his videos too much. Quality content really takes time and I'm glad BSJ takes the time to upload videos like these instead of pumping them out everyday.
@@zaslayerNgl, from watching BSJ & another great dota 2 analyst youtuber ZQuixotic with his "Whose fault is it" series actually improves my macro & decision making quite a bit, than it did with the free gameleap/proguides lesson in YT. I would just build to be tanky and prioritize using your ult on their carry during BKB. Its 2.3s of a BKBs 6 second duration so you're effectively limiting 1/2 of its effectivness.
Forgot to add the lvl 25 talent doubles the duration so its really 4.6seconds super late. Alot of carries rely heavily on their BKBs so essentially removing it is a huge advantage
Primal beast found me in low prio queue, together in the pits we jammed out together and slammed fools. This dude let’s me channel my gamer RAGE like no other
So this patch i have 25 games on PB with 80% winrate, and my game plan was quite simple and similar every game. Level 1 i always go uproar. The reason being: free +6 damage and 10+ damage for every 50 damage till 50 stacked damage. That super huge for laning and i mostly use it to out cs the opponent easy. No point in going first spell, since u still sit on the lane lvl1 and i just control the range with my tankyness and my huge dmg. Then i max trample and go 1 point in onslaught for controlling runes and disengaging of course. Next every game after default items i rush blademail into tarasque. Basically w or l depends on the timing of tarasque. If the timing is good - i win, timing bad - having some troubles. And of course are also important - against ursa, aa, some hp percent based damage, again, some troubles. The game just kinda ends from this point. One thing i wouldve changed, is probably going bkb instead on some hard games, where bkb allow me to fight, while tarasque doesnt.
BSJ pls tell us how tf do you deal with the new OD. I tried nullifier but it doesn't remove the new shield. The Orb is pure damage, the ulti is a ton of magic. What can one do against such disgusting characters? Do I need to buy diffu to burn his mana, bkb to survive his ult and and orchid to prevent his stupid prison? Like how the hell do you play against it. The whole concept is so weird I can't find any answer to it and it's picking up rapidly in the midlane.
Hey guys, can anybody suggest a way for me to understand lane match ups? I came back to dota from a long break and most heroes in the meta are different and I don’t know who beats who in lane now and need some help, I know it’s not always simple, but sometimes I want to try and overpower my lane and try to win game, is there any site or guide for that?
The worst thing about all those tutorials of above 7k mmr players that all this doesn't work in 2k mmr pubs cuz there's NO TEAMPLAY in basic. Instead of playing around CS in lanes and making predictable movements, splitting farm and interacting around tatgets and objectives, theres is just fucking hybrid of circus, survival, consyant poinless fighting and just buttonmashing. Lower MMRs are playing only around creeps and orderlessly throwing skills on enemies. Higher are around self-obsession and ego. And all those rules just START to work at immortals, where you have tosonehow climb to. And all players say that the best way to make it is being exceptionally good on just a few heroes up to three which you will spam until you'll an immortal. And mepersinally never found any, cuz my beloved trio of Terrorblade, Ember Spirit and Aec Warden is mostly ABSOLUTELY unplayable at guardians/crusaders with any constant high winrate, so I have to abuse very specifuc meta and playstyle to climb up just to boost up my MMR, while EVERY attempt of playing by high mmr guides ends up with losing few hundreds MMR every time. In my opinion it's the worst thing in DotA.
Like BSJ is telling about low cooldowns and ability to be constantly online in game, but in low brackets that works the opposite - you're starting fights so much faster than your average teammates can react in any way and you just end up having feeding the enemy team and get flamed by your team's brilliant minds of this game every single game. So you have to adopt the lowskill meta where the most winning heroes are those which are the most possibly survive chaotic teamfights in late game. The sad truth of crusader/archon pubs where the difference is just how often people push their buttons togher, and the only difference from guardian/herald is the word "together".
Pretty sim ple. Once u have pulverize, u immediately start ganking lanes and keep the momentum. That cooldown on pulverize is insane, not to mention it pierces debuff immunity. This guy gonna get nerfed in the future.
PB is easily my favourite hero, both design wise, gameplay wise AND aesthetically. But goddamn I cannot for the life of me get him to work in this patch. Everyone keeps telling me he's busted but I find myself having low impact regularly.
