Oh, thank you. 😊 They should just be in time for the main flower show as well by the time they move in. I've been working on the back garden this week 😅 equally as lovely. Thanks again Martin.
Yes! Ants are everywhere! Driving me crazy!😊😅. I have had to spray the foundation of my home, so I can keep them out of the house. That is a beautiful garden for sure!😊❤. Take care and God Bless. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri
Haha, they can be little buggers. I had to replace the entire seal around my front door and also train my children to stop hiding half eater fruit bits behind sofas and other places 😂 the ants would always find them before I did. I happy if they stay in the garden though 👍😁 they can do what they like there.
Absolutely beautiful garden and you brought it back to life. Thank you for identifying the plants. Most of the lawn care channels i watch just cut everything down and have no idea what they are destroying. It is refreshing to see the care and thought you put into your work.

I didn't even think of posting a business card through the door until someone else mentioned it 😂 I will do it, though, it'd be great to carry on and look after the place.
Yeah, even with ground cover, something will still get through. It's wasn't too bad here, grass more than anything else.
Thank you for the super kind thoughts 🙏
I wish u uploaded everyday! Lol! I'd watch ur vids all day long if I didn't already 😂😂 Ur attention to detail and cleanliness is just unmatched!! LOVE IT!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Haha, how about twice a week? 😅 thank you, what a super compliment. I'm very grateful 🙏
Super appreciated
Martin
You take such great pride in your work, as if that garden was your own 👍
That's a very lovely comment 😊 I'm glad you think so. Thank you also for watching.👍
Love that edger you have! Glad you are identifying some of her plants. Gives me ideas! Beautifully done!
You should get one, they are fantastic 😅
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it.
Martin.
Such a gardener's love and your respect for her memory. Well done!
Thank you 👍 😊 🙏
That's a super kind comment.
Much appreciated
Martin.
Thank you.
And thank you for watching 😊👍
I really enjoy watching this episode. What a beautiful garden.
It must be sad for the son to see that garden turn into unkept lawn after his mother passing.
I'm sure your work there will be much appreciated by the son and the new home owner.
Oh, thank you for that 😊 yeah, it's always sad. Unfortunately, in my line of work, I get called for this quite a bit 😥 but it's always nice to be able to help.
Thanks again for the lovely comment.
All the best
Martin.
Lovely garden Martin, the lady must have worked hard to keep it up. Hope the new owners appreciate how you’ve got it up together . I’ve noticed more ants this year. ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire
Thanks Pauline 😊 at least I know it's not just me.
I'm glad you liked the garden 👍 it's not exactly low maintenance, but wow, she mustn't have been against a bit of hard gardening work.
Thank you for doing her garden justice. She must be smiling at you from above.
By the way, I was expecting you to say lupins in a Monty Python voice!🤣
That's hilarious 😂 you must be at least as old as me to remember that one 😂
I don’t think I have ever seen someone pull weeds you took this serious. I will just have to I am speechless. What a wonderful gardener. You have done such a wonderful work and did her proud thank you for sharing your love of nature you know your flowers. God bless you
I will never ever get tired of reading such lovely and kind comments like this 😊 I can't put into words how grateful I am 🙏 I so glad you enjoyed the video, I get moaned at sometimes for taking about plants 😅 but I'm glad you're one of the ones that like it.
All the best
Martin.
Always enjoy your videos, Martin. Hello from Canada.
Cheers Dave 👍 much appreciated, mate.
Good job beautiful garden loved watching this episode thankyou
Thank you ☺️ I know it's not for everybody, but I love these plants so much I couldn't help myself 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
Martin
Martin, that was a beautiful garden and you did a great job cleaning it up. I also think there’s a lot more ants this year. But so far we have kept them out of the house. I have a huge ants 🐜 nest in my largest garden. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the next one. 😊
Haha, yeah l, that's the trick 😅 keep them out the house, and I'm happy. They can do as they wish in the garden 😁
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the little video. See you in the next one.
AWESOME and AMAZING yard transformation work. The lady is smiling down and thanking you for bringing back the BEAUTY of her garden. May she REST PEACEFULLY. ✝️🙏🏼✝️
Oh, thanks for the lovely and kind words. I hope she is 😊 I'd like to tell her how much I've learned working in her garden.
Thanks again
Martin
You did a great job. What a beautifully curated garden
Aww, such a lovely garden. I’m sure the lady would be standing there watching you bring it back to life with a big smile. And it gives the new owners a fighting chance to keep it up together too 👌🏻🧡💚
I hope she is, I wish I could thank her for it 😊 I went to do the back garden this week as well. Equally as special 😍
Thanks again
Martin.
@@martinthegardenguy - oh that’s good you got to complete it all. 👏🏼. I’m sure she would be chuffed to bits!
Looks beautiful Martin. Job well done 👏. ❤ from Canada 🇨🇦
Hi Canada 🇨🇦 ☺️
Thanks for the shout-out 👍
And also, thanks for watching.
So lovely to see a garden guy who preserves the plants. What a lovely garden❤
Thank you 😊 🙏 that's very kind of you to say. It's much appreciated.
Martin.
Und das alles in 4 Stunden,oh man ich hätte 4 Wochen gebraucht, wenn nicht länger, sie sind ein Meister, wunderschön gemacht G aus Thüringen
Hello G, I didn't have to google Thuringia this time 😁😂
Thanks for the lovely comment.
And greetings from England.
Martin.
This was a well planned garden as her plants have continued to thrive in her absence. I would be so thrilled to drive up with the moving van and see how the lovely plants pop after your work. Great job.
Oh, thank you. 😊
They should just be in time for the main flower show as well by the time they move in.
I've been working on the back garden this week 😅 equally as lovely.
Thanks again
Martin.
@@martinthegardenguy , I agree. As long as they stay outside, I’m good with that!😁
Absolutely beautiful garden and you brought it back to life. Thank you for identifying the plants. Most of the lawn care channels i watch just cut everything down and have no idea what they are destroying. It is refreshing to see the care and thought you put into your work.
Oh, thanks 😊 that's a lovely comment. It's really appreciated, and I'm really glad you enjoyed the video.
You're a diamond 😊
Hi Martin what a amazing job you did on this beautiful garden the old lady would be very impressed let’s hope the new owners will be inspired David 🪴🇬🇧👌❤️👍🌷
Thanks, David, much appreciated 😊
I'm not sure when they'll be moving in, so I'll have to keep it looking good until they do 😂
Очень красиво!!!!💚
Thank you 👍 🙏 ☺️

Wow beautiful garden. Good job 👏 👍
Thank you 👍 🙏 she certainly knew what she was doing when she made it.
I can still learn a lot from her.
Thanks again
Martin
Brilliant job Martin!! Fabulous manicure, you did the lady proud!!! From Ontario Canada
Thank you so much 😊👍
Absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤
well done on the borders. hard work
Hard, but relaxing 😅 especially when the birds were in full chorus.
Thanks for the comment 👍
Martin
Such a lovely garden. Thank you for its rebirth!
Also, thank you for the comment and watching. I hope you enjoyed the video.
😊
You done well there mate, given the time you had. Massive improvement, hopefully the new owners keep on top of it.👌👍
Cheers mate 👍 it was quite easy, workable soil to be fair. I work in some heavy clay areas, and it takes twice as long. And it is harder graft, as you probably know 😅
Lovely job Martin.
Thanks Mary 👍 😊
Much appreciated
Martin
Great job as usual, do hope you took the opportunity to leave the new owners your business card.
You should be my marketing person 😂 I never thought about doing that, haha.
Although I'm pretty much always full work wise, I'm sure I could make room for this lovely garden. I feel like I know it quite well now.
Thank you 👍 🙏 ☺️
You're simply amazing! Love the care you give to the plants! So beautiful 💖!!
Oh, thank you 😁 😊 🙏
Que placer la delicadeza tratando cada planta!!! Es un artista del paisajismo!!!
Se observa mucho amor en su trabajo!!!
Gracias!!! Saludos desde Argentina!!!
Greetings argentina 🇦🇷 ❤️ 🙏
Thank you so much for the lovely comment.
All the best
Martin.
How beautiful. I bet the lady will be so happy you did that x😊
Oh, I do hope so 😊 it's was such a lovely little garden. Packed with flowers, and will be even more so later on in summer.
I've learned a thing or two 😁
Thanks
Martin.
Awe. What a sweet story.
Sweets story, for a sweet garden 😊 it's was ever so floral. It was strong enough to cover up my sweaty gardener smell 😂
Lovely,i love your job,you do your the better, and respect all flowers🌱💚👍🫶 sorry my english, hugs from Brazil
Your English is far better than my Portuguese 😅
Thank you very much for the comment. It's really appreciated.
Martin
Yes your right about the ants, even in the Netherlands I find a lot of them in my garden. Mostly they’re not very happy with me weeding.😂😂😂
Haha, that's when they get you 😂 I didn't even end up weeding around that nest that was in the video, because they were going crazy. I just left them alone 😂
💚👍👍👍
Very lovely! Fancy that!
It is a gorgeous garden and you have done a fab job tidying it up. I hope the new owners don’t rip it all out.
Oh wow, me too. It'd be a travesty 😥 I'm gonna pop a business card through the door, just in case looking after a garden like this scares them 😂
What an incredible garden. ❤
Oh, yes. She certainly had an eye for color and flowers 😊
That garden was beautiful...
I agree 😊👍 she'd done an amazing job creating this garden. I've been at this 25 years or so, and I still learned something from her even though she's no longer with us.
Thank you for the comment 😊
Much appreciated.
Martin.
Hi Martin I'm a new subscriber to your channel, what a beautiful garden by previous owner all credit to her & yourself for making it special again. I too love my garden & of late had to watch my husband & daughter see to it until I can resume my duties, which I am so itching to do. You have done so well for her, I know it was for the new owners benefit but I'm sure the lady concerned was watching over you , her selection of plants are beautiful she must have been a real gardener. I love the way you work as if it was your own Martin so kudos to you for that, I also hope the new owners employ your services so you can keep the garden in tip top condition, much love keep safe 👍🏼
Thank you 👍 😊 that's very kind of you. I truly will never get tired of reading lovely comments like these 😊
I hope you manage to get out in the garden soon.🤞
All the best
Martin
