I live in Vegas and I wanna clarify some things before people get the wrong idea. These prices are typically only reserved for tables/bottle service (which works the same way at a night club, just a million times cheaper). Say you rent out a table for $10,000. Most (not all) nightclubs will let you order up to $10,000 worth of bottles. I’m assuming this is probably the same for edc. Renting out a table for $100,000 and just ordering up to that price. Hope this helps :)
Exactly. Charlie I think just likes that click bait without actually explaining the real logistics behind it. And no it is exactly like that for edc Skydeck. That's the table/bottle service situation they have there. It's insane
I worked security for the edc for a company called CISS or CIS back in 2018. I was active duty in the USMC and the company promised to pay everyone there and pay for our ball tickets (shocker, they didn’t and then complained that we were bad workers because we slept once we got back to the hotel and over 70% of us didn’t go back for a 18-20 hour shift with no food or water). We got to Vegas speedway and didn’t feed us or give water and had us working security from the entry all the way to the VIP section. The amount of people with their parents credit cards was insane, people would drop this kind of money for a bottle of jack and vodka.

As a local, I know this is a place where rich people blow as much money as possible. We see it everyday. Add a festival, its eggs and bacon. This is not a Woodstock 99 greed festival with this level of prices everywhere. You see these prices at almost every VIP section club in Vegas year-round.
It's super irresponsible to charge $90 for water at an EDM show, where people are almost guaranteed to be taking shit tons of ecstasy and not having water would literally kill them
It’s not $90. A single bottle at a stand will be about $5-$10. They offer free water stations throughout festival grounds. It’s encouraged to bring your own flask, empty bottle, or water backpack to fill up.

@@Th1sUsernameIsNotTaken EDC is one of the few events that allows it to some extent. They tried banning bringing in Camel Backs and nearly caused a riot in the act.
I don't think it should be legal to ban people from bringing in water.
My farts are better than Charlie's farts.
It's insane
Thank you for this! Everyone is just assuming that's the prices in general 🙄
Lol
46k tip that a down payment. even if they take like 95% of it, that still over 2k. from a single person is crazy

There is free water throughout the festival for GA - if you want a bottle its like 9 bucks. Cocktails with doubles going for 35. Its VIP in Las Vegas. As a local, I know this is a place where rich people blow as much money as possible. We see it everyday. Add a festival, its eggs and bacon.
This is not a Woodstock 99 greed festival with this level of prices everywhere. You see these prices at almost every VIP section club in Vegas year-round.
I have a big case of water in my car trunk/boot so when I go out somewhere I just grab a bottle and don’t have to deal with extortionate water prices

Greed has always been a plague within humanity. There's not more of it, you're just SEEING more of it.
Its always been like that yeah but also its because MUCH easier to do so and some people are loosing any sort if self discipline for money. And with the internet we are able to see way more or it.
