lmao. I used the control inputs to send like LFO from external source but never thought about just triggering stuff with my body lool. You're a genius x)
ahaha wonder if we can use other body parts as well now 😂 to be honest I discovered it by chance, I was just trying to connect something else then I touched the jack in the process and noticed the input bar going up nice and smooth..
@@solarj loool that must have been a cool moment x) still, well done. If it had happen to me I'm not sure I would have thought about it. I most certainly touched the jacks while pluging the cables but did not notice anything
Dude this is so cool! Awesome video! Thanks for taking time to post this. I love using the analog rytm. It is my favorite piece of elektron gear!! Cheers
@@just.an.dutchguy right?😃 by using a mixer fader I’d imagine you would obtain a similar behaviour as with an expression pedal. The magic of this trick - in addition to the scenic effect, is that is sooo snappy you can jump from min to max voltage in a super small fraction of a second. With pedals and faders it would take some more time to put it up and down. But let is know if you try it :)
@@universalvibe72 surely will work for the analog four as it has cv/expr inputs. Not quite sure about the analog keys and pretty sure will not for any of the digis. Basically you need to have an expression pedal input.
@ thank you. The DNK has a CV input on it just like the AK and the ARMKII. 😬 I will have to go rewatch the video. I was a little bit fuzzy on did you already have pattern set up? Or was that the sample itself? Over the weekend I saw these little CV touch capacitive sensors that have 2 pads next to each other and you touch them to trigger the CV, it does basically like what you were doing which is holding the cable. It was like 30 bucks USD. So I thought about having an array of these things going to the various ELEKTRON instruments that I have with the same CV input. Figuring out how do you get a really good filter sweep going it's definitely one of the things I'm interested in doing.
You've hacked the Matrix, Aphex Twin level unlocked.

Wooooow!!! Thank you!
You’re welcome my friend :)
Wow this is very cool and great idea and implementation from you 😄
@@Bobo thanks mate :) it’s also really fun to play!
Very cool
Right? 😃 glad that an Elektron master like you also found it cool. Just checked your channel amazing stuff!
@solarj thanks mate! I was looking for some more expressivity...might try that 🤩
Awesome! Love your content on AR!

Cool :) let us know if you find interesting routings!
This is mad, and brilliant! Subbed ❤
Thanks bro!Happy to hear you’re as excited as I am about this hack 😃
Insane trick!!!
Really insane XD
Insane! What if you put it in a hardware mixer channel and move the mixer fader up and down? Maybe some better controlled control?

I'm trying this on my Heat mk2 & A4mk2 4 sure too. Nice discovery & cool trick 4 sure 👌 😊

Will this work on the Analog keys or any of the other like the A4MKII, DNKEYS?
