I'm glade to see someone on you tube using wax from VCS. I have been using and testing there hemp, coco, soy with a small amount of food grade paraffin in it. I like it very much. It has a good cold and hot throw. It also does well in melts mixed with CBG. CBD. and CBG oils. I started making the melts mixed with those oils for my sister but have had others want them. Good luck and God bless.
Olive oil and coconut wax just arrived today! Can’t wait to try it. For now I’ll be looking for your review video. Thanks for sharing new oil supplier!
That’s cool you’re going with the amber jars. I launched my Signature Collection with the amber jars as well (9oz, 16oz & spray bottles). I really like the look of them.
Your videos are great and will for sure try these scents, but as a newby i have to ask how do you test your hot throw with no wick? I am confused on that process as i have not had anyone explain that process in a testing phase situation. Thank you
Thank you! The next video I post will be going over wick-less testers. I pour them wick-less, but test them with wicks. Having a wick not secured in the candle allows me to easily pull out a wick if it's not working and put a different one in. I do this strictly for initial wick testing. Once I get an idea of which wick is working best, I will pour a candle with the wick attached and test.
I was wondering the same thing. I goggle it. You put the jar on an electric heating source and let the wax melt to see if the scent is where you want it.
Hi there! I like to pour my initial testers wick-less so I can insert a wick and easily swap it out if it's not working correctly. I will be uploading a video soon demonstrating this method. Once I find a wick that I think works best, I will then attach that wick to a jar and pour a candle to test.

Thanks Bree! I love the Amber Jars.
Soooo excited about your testing and rebranding, my friend. Those jars go beautifully with your spray bottles ❤

Bree, the small scale for measuring the FO, is it in your Amazon store Finds? Thanks.
Hi! Yes, it is. Under "candlemaking supplies"
@@calafiacandleco Thank you.
Dumb question I’m sure. I’m new. How do you test wicks with no wicks in the jar? Do you add them later?

Do you heat your jars before you pour?
Nope!
Where do companies that start fragrances companies get them to sell them. I’d like to open one
I believe there are multiple fragrance oil manufacturers across the country you can reach out to and inquire.
