I don’t like knowing everything. John is gonna be bigger than ever now because he’s not with his old label anymore. He’s gonna bust out those double doors! He’s soaring just like he said he would all those years ago. Love you John.😎😎😎😎
Great video as always! For some future videos, I'd love to see you do a shoot-out between different amp in a box pedals (Universal Audio Dream '65 Reverb, Strymon Iridium, Walrus Audio ACS1) to get John Mayer type tones. It would be even better if you could get a company like Sweetwater, Musician's Friend, or Reverb to sponsor it and send you the pedals.
Chorus after reverb has the advantage of modulating the reverb tails. Not saying it’s how it works on this board but it’s a cool sound and it’s a very 80s way to split to stereo.
Hey Justin I use 3 JRAD pedals with an AC30 and I feel like they get me into the JM3 type tones but dirtier. I've got like a 30 second vid on my channel of me playing the opening of Who Did You Think I Was with The Dude and The Touch and I think those pedals together can get you into that dirtier Dumble type territory. You have any experience with those?
Would love to see the mini version! I have a lot of these pedals already but I'm wanting to have my board a little more compact than John's lmao
second this, im trying to put together a mayer/dead board, would love an essentials mini version of this video
It’s a really good thing the pedals weren’t revealed earlier, who knows what chaos would have ensued!

so hyped for all the new videos about the sob rock tour!!!

That would be fun! I wouldn’t want to buy those pedals myself but for a video demo it’d be awesome!
Love your videos man! Hope you got to see him live yourself a few times 😮
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing all this info. Look forward to future videos on how you think John used these pedals on the sob rock tour.

Still mad at myself for not picking up a new TSV808 when they were like $500
Great video as usual!
lol, I get overwhelmed with my 7-pedal board. This is nuts.
Cool
i’m in the TS to and fro a klon … can never have too many screamers 😋
So in this case, his drive tone was mainly TS10 > Klon?
Yup as far as I can tell!
@@JustinJeske interesting. Back to adjusting the order of my overdrives!
Hey Justin, didn’t he change the TSV808 out for the Peavey Ten Years is a Decade pedal which he uses for Last Train?
Yeah he did! Not 100% sure it was used for that consistently though!
Always surprises me seeing the Q-tron after the drives. Envelope filters usually work much better early in the chain, before drives.
The Q-Tron is most likely wired in-between drives! Just placed physically on the middle row!
Great video!
Great video
Pedal board privacy smh
I’ve always wondered what he does with the Warped Vinyl, always seems to be on his board but no one has ever seen him use it 😂
Literally only seen it used for In Repair that's it lol
Does John runs his pedalboard in front of all his amps or does he run his wet effects thru an fx loop?
All pedals run through the front!
Would’ve been a lot better to actually see these pedals close up as you’re talking about it.

I haven't tried the Touch but the Dude is a killer pedal! J Rockett makes some awesome stuff
Does anyone know his typical settings for the TS10?
I did a video on this subject a while ago! ua-cam.com/video/3zdDqTnfsaA/v-deo.html
Are you in love of john? 😂
We all are😀❤️😀❤️😀. Best tour yet, but I say this every time 😀😀😀🥂
