May I be cheeky, I’ve watch all your videos to date. Myself and my partner are going to do an around Britain. Would you care to share your passage and pilotage plans for your trip allowing me a head start please. Thank you Garry
@@minoudos hello Garry, that’s absolutely brilliant, sure you’ll literally have the time of your lives! Well, we kinda made our passages up as we went along!!! And any pilotage was written on scraps of paper that are no longer with us 😂 I’ve never tried this before, but I think I may be able to share our Navionics history with you. Best case that’s all the places visited and the passages taken to get to them, which you’d literally be able to download. Do you use Navionics? If so, let me know if you’d like to give it a try. I think I’d just need your email address!
Gary, I wish mate!!!! They do fish and chips here in some places, but it's NOT the same. Not even in the same universe as delicious proper fish n chips. Next episode I will ramble on for quite a bit about the best fish n chips we had in the UK 😂
It will be interesting to see if you encountered the lobster pots half way between Le Havre & Barfleur. Sounds as if you missed the containers arranged as art form to the east of the harbour & you did not visit the yacht club. Pity You mention architecture but the flats along the road opposite the marina were so bad & haven for druggies that in the last 15 years they had to be pulled down & different designs built in their place to make a marked improvement from the old Le havre rubbish.
@@grahamlongley8298 we didn’t have great weather in Le Havre, so we couldn’t get out much! I also had injured my foot, so I wasn’t mobile 😌 we wanted to visit the yacht club, but they had live music on for the nights we were there which was very loud. Captain Yewy isn’t a fan of loud music, it really stresses her out. Can’t see everything a place has to offer in a few days, but what we did see, we liked. I think that comes across in the video.
Amen, what a magnificent privilige.
