What Do You Think About This Bass Guitar Creation?

- I went down a memory lane and watched my old videos. I stumbled on the blue Danube and thought I have to use it once again:) A few years back I had a problem of getting ideas for a new video and now I have a few ones already filmed but no time to edit.. It's always something.. This time a custom six strings bass with a unique look. This one went to Italy and I have to give a special thanks to the customer who was even so nice that he filmed himself playing and allowed us to use the footage in the video! You can watch it at the end of the video. I edited this one as I used to a lot of time ago.. Just classical music and video.. Thank you for watching! I still think that 6 strings basses are creating a bit of confusion in the guitar world. But it looks good to me. Namastè.
Reminds me of the Ibanez Affirma bass, but with a sleeker design.

The Purple Heart colour fades after a few years though I think? I'm only starting out as a Luthier and I love the idea of using it in a build but I would be heartbroken if the colour dulled in time.

Interesting wood cover design! So you utilized the existing holes in the plastic covers? You drilled counterbores in the wood covers to mount them?
what is the name/type of the bridges you used? i have a build in mind and these tuners look really interesting! Incredible build, definitely getting a sub here. Good stuff!!!!!
I think you have a typo in your thumbnail: Should be "Purple Heart" not "Purple Hearth". Same in the subtitles.

Not sure about the black and purple on the front; i preferred it on the back where the neck is visible. But that's just my taste. Having owned a headless through neck back in the day (albeit with double ball ends, rather than clamps) the tone made me smile! It has that solidity and resonance like nothing else. You can beat on those things all day and all night, and they always come back for more. I can well understand why somebody would commission a custom made of such glorious woods.
