Devon is the reason why millions of people like me have started to enjoy arm wrestling. John is and will be the GOAT and Denis will be the greatest giant, but Devon's contribution to the sports is just immense. There are poeple who wouldn't know the Arm wrestling champ but he would surely know Devon the unlimited.

I know Devon lost to Levon and was beaten very convincingly but Devon Larratt is and will always be in my opinion the most enjoyable, exciting and fearless arm wrestler ever to compete, I can only imagine what he was like when he was in the Canadian armed forces with JTF 2 he did something like 6 or 7 tours in Afghanistan he's a living legend.

@@user-http55588 that's not cheating...after hand slips the ref is suppose strap them in. Some arm wrestlers prefer to arm wrestle in strap. While slipping out can be done intentionally to avoid a pin, It's part of arm wrestling strategy to reset the match or to go the straps.

Devon Larratt is the nicest most humble guy you will ever meet. Even when he is just pulling for fun or practice he is all smiles. Make no mistake when he steps up to the table to pull competitively, all that nice shit is out the window. He is a monster. He dominates his opponents mentally and physically.
Thats true perfect example was his match against John Brezenk at King of Table 2 last December I believe there 6th match spanning a period of 20 years, Devon this time just had to much for John whose still pretty damn great for 57 and not prime the first one was competitive I'm sure ya saw it, but then next 2-3 pulls Devon was just talking major shit he was all " yahhhh john yahhhh tired...oldddd...gassed out dryyyy lol while just crushing him this time!, and that was him trash talking to fricking John Brezenk man a man who I a pretty sure he is in fact at least moderate friends with and both of whom respect and admire the hell out of each other, and yet right after the match all that trash talk is gone and its back to nothing but respect and humility and john he doesn't take that shit personally at all which is also cool he gets it entirely obviously and has nothing but great things to say about Larrat and his own legacy!.
Strowman is in my top 5 WWE stars. Used to watch strongman as a kid and love how nimble and athletic the Monster Among Men really is. His body doesn’t look bloated like most strongman but can lift a building. Impressive IMO. But arm wrestling is a whole different ball game for sure.
And? He is no where near the strength level of an actual strongman.

Say what y’all want but Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) had him that first round and Devon knew it. That’s why he tried to slip out of it the first round. Arm wrestling is also endurance, and you could tell he put everything he had into that first round, which winded him a little the second round, and Larratt did what he does best.

Devon knows the types of people he's arm wrestling.. Braun would've went all-in on the power right off the rip, and ALL Devon had to do was waste his momentum for roughly 8 seconds... and then rush him with his power when Braun exhausted his energy. Its simple patience and knowing when to commit.
I am not an arm wrestler but in my youth I weighed 290 to 300 pounds at 6'4 and did a lot of power lifting , my friend who also wasnt a arm wrestler but knew how to do it , would beat me 90% of the time in an arm wrestle and he weighed just over 220 at 5'11 . He knew he just had to hold me back for those first few seconds and I would tire after that very quickly , only times I won is when I started with enough force to make him loose his footing and thus unable to hold, which happened seldom ,he liked to rock climb....

After watching a ton of Devon's stuff, something people don't always realize is that he's purposely letting his opponent get the advantage at the start. He wants them to expend as much energy as possible by locking his arm in place, sitting there, and not letting them get the pin. This not only tires them out, but pisses them off. In their shoes I can see it being poor sportsmanship in a way, since Devon isn't even trying to win in those situations. In reality though it's just great strategy.
If he feels they have too much of an advantage he then slips out and calls for the strap. He wants to be in the strap because then it's mostly a game of strength vs strength, and Devon is undeniably 1A or 1B in the world in that department.
yeah, notice that he thrown his center control away, which put him in a bad position, this is like exhibition match , simillar to what he did to Frank Budowski, but to be fair to braun, he's no armwrestler, let alone professional at it, so yeah, Braun is quite strong
