I dont understand how embark developers think, they finally nerfed the rpg and now the buffed this? It literally 2 shot Light players, like the freaking sniper
I really like the gun, I used to main it til the big nerf in SE3. After that it was a quick play only type beat. It used to be better in SE1+2 with 120 dmg and pre-armed mines dealing full damage. it was pure filth but no one noticed because APS was a super hard counter and commonly run to deal with grenades and what not. As it is now I usually swap back to AK if we make finals unless were against a team with a good L player, or 2 or more L. Rarely do I get 'owned' by CL users, I think most just use it because they think it will be an easy time. I'd love to see Embark post win rates of each weapon
I found it was more fitting for the cl40 to have the center dot off then Dispersion reticle on with plus shape, length 2, thickness 6, outline thickness 2, opacity 100, outline opacity 50, And Static reticle on plus shape, length 2, inner offset 6, thickness 25, outline thickness 2, opacity 50, outline opacity 50. It gives you a little box shape with the dispersion reticle inside the box but it still uhhh 😅 disperses? It gives you something more to get your focus on and it's a little bit better to look at, while using the cl40 anyway

@@realslop yea i was eating up a lot of my playtime after I realized you can actually change that stuff cause I also didn't know where to even start, so I just made it a dot for melee and flamethrower then did the box for cl40 and a U shape static with dot for throwing knives and it made it easier to just hop in the range and start changing it up and fine tuning it all.
The CL40 isn't way Op, but in quick cash 1 in three people are playing it currently, and I've had multiple matches with a team triple stacking it, and it SUCKS. I've considered stopping playing until people stop using it so much, because the game is way less fun for me. I enjoy light, and if a team is triple stacking CL40 you spend most of the time hiding, healing, or dead. You come around the corner and instantly die. So even if it isn't OP in the comp scene, it is making the casual scene much less fun. If you have a APS turret it is not too bad, but lights don't have access to that. There isn't really a counter for short range light against CL40. Its power comes from coordination and teamwork though. It is average/bad if you use it by yourself. If you use it well with your team you will absolutely bully the enemies, since it hits hard, but slow fire rate, you hit the enemy once, then your team can gun them down crazy fast. Also, you only used it in a couple games, which does not show its true power. It does take a little to get use to. You were playing far too far from your team for the CL40 quite a bit. It is a gun you always want your team 5 meters from you.
I got 20 kills with this thing literally putting my mouse and mousepad on the floor and using my feet just to prove a point to a mate.Dont think youre good if you use it
@@damonmlinaric9254 I routinely get 700 kills with the light burst pistol playing with two steering wheels instead of a mouse, foot pedals to move, and a vibrating butt plug that I clench on to shoot. I don't think you're good if you use it. Not even flexing bro no cap no cap frfr

I was always fucking up small and mid classes with it why would you buff that thing? lol Haven‘t played for a bit now I didn’t know it got buffed what an insane decision… was my goto gun cause the small class annoyed the shit out of me… so they buff the grenade launcher but nerf the rpg? I liked that one being oneshot that was it‘s only real good purpose lol

every other match there are 2 mediums with CL40s in the other 2 teams, in ranked tournaments it isn't much different either.
i’d rather fight two CL40s than two Pikes any day of the week
