Ottr after finding out the Death Star laser isn't hit scan: (F teir)
Dont say the CL40 is fine please, bronze - plat we see 3 stacks of CL40s, the damage is not the only problem, ill list out all the problems with it
1) if you miss all 4 shots you still kill lights and medium
2) the shots move the cashbox, making it possible to cancel a steal by just shooting the cashbox
3) you can cancel revives with 1 shot because statues go flying
4) the shots produce a slight smoke on impact, breaking visibility
5) The only real counter is ABS turret and high ground AKA jump pad
not only does the medium have the meta weapons, medium is the only class with the counter to them... the entire meta is forcing you to play medium, its a really bad time for light and heavy

Literally and the fact it’s a two shot on lights is Absurd add the that it completely clutter fucks of any sound cues

As one of five riot shield mains in the finals. I speak for all of us when I say that this man clearly underestimates the power of the riot shield (its outmatched by every other melee weapon and flamethrower)
Every other Melee weapon? As a sword main i love going against Riot shields because my sword just goes straight through the shield almost every lunge.

Sword is one of the only weapons you see in diamond along with v9s on light. Sword A tier. Just a very high skill floor

100%, but it puts a lot of effort and sometimes inconsistent
it's purely situational, close quarters it's useful, but in long range open area type of fight, it literally becomes useless

As a new player and new to this channel I would like if you showed a pic of each weapon because I don't know the names yet. I was waiting or skipping to the tier list frame to see what weapon you were talking about. Just my thoughts for any future tier list
I don't think ottr quite understands what the E and F tier are for cause there's ZERO chance the new light shotty or v9s are that low.

As someone who played bow long enough to know how to use properly, it still sucks 😂. If you're very good with the bow it's like the equivalent of someone who is mediocre with the akm or scar
@@ximxim7533 you don’t play bow like an assualt rifle. Bow is good, it’s exceptionally good at long ranges and peeking corners. Trust. I have over 60 hours on the bow if you learn how to play it, then you can dominate lobbies

The throwing knifes are annoying to go against as a casual because they never have to reload and it really ruins the fun

Cl40 is broken, if ur a light and get a flank as soon as a cl40 user hears any sound q they just shoot it under the feet, kill you instantly and they still survive

The Bow in F Tier is crazy... it's such a good weapon for skill expression

LH1 deserves a buff. It was steadily buffed S1-3 cause it was comparatively weak and underused until it got overbuffed. Then it was majorly nerfed and it’s worse than it ever was, and it feels especially bad compared to the pike which goes to a class which is just stronger
just the light class atm glass canon with no canon
i think the recoil should get nerfed so you can consistently shoot someone at least
The thing is if you are playing in lower ranks the list will be complete different because of aiming skills and tactics and it's always a personal preference of how you're playstile is.

the matter is good but its a different playstyle (basically a movement shooter because of the lack of spread when jumping and running), E tier is mad low imo. good video either way, glad you justified each spot rather than just placing them!

I disagree when you said the model can't fight against pike... I know it's about the range problem when it comes to mid-long range battle but if you get close enough I'm pretty sure you could just beat the medium with only 2shot if your aim is great... And pike also a bit difficult to hit you when u close to it
The throwing knives are goated and insane if you actually put time into it and know how to get out of situations with it they have insane damage no reload so you can just spam them they are just insane this is coming from a light main with grappler

This is just “the weapons I can’t use and thus are bad.” V9S and SH1900 are extremely powerful, I consistently get 20 bombs with them….
Y’a know, the heavy’s grenade launcher and the riot shield are definitely both niche, but I’ve seen some UA-cam/twitch clips of some pro players using them both *flawlessly* , even in tournament modes, not just casual. Made me wanna try them, and I really started clicking with both. I love the AoE plays I can make with the mgl, and the riot shield offers so much survivability for me thanks to that passive shielding. I started winning 2 and even 3v1’s that I otherwise wouldn’t have thanks to being able to block 2 people while taking out the other player. And of course, these builds only get better when you’ve got good teammates too 😂
I want a gadget of some sort for lights that just pushes enemies far away, kind of like Lucios ability in overwatch, it can remove pressure on your team, stop cash outs, and bounce enemies off the map. Also it sounds annoying but lights thing is being annoying.
No hate, but this list is crazy. Bow in F below riot shield, pistol and double barrel too low, M60 and Lewis gun in B tier for heavy...
here a piece of advice, just go with whatever flouts your boat. that's all.
the reason people hate the dagger change is because you can cancel it
dagger users aren't able to land backstabs anymore because they can't just click it normally and get a basic backstab like you can with the throwing knives, those can't be canceled
you can hold the button, and tap it
if they gave dagger or hell even sword the same treatment people would be happier
This is a really good example of how percieved power is subjective.
Feels like this tier list is based on world tour and more casual gameplay rather than ranked, but revolver better than model is still a weird choice.
3 CL-40 teams are just everywhere and a total nightmare, getting depopped in a sec. CL40 is the meta weapon sadly
I'm going to be sticking to the V9S this season. It just fits so well with my playstyle.

Ive been using the sa 12 since season 1 and excel with it. I now use it with charge instead of mesh. Just all out offensive and still slay out. I never struggle against any heavy even if they use deagle or m60 or ks. People are saying its bad so im gonna put the fear of the sa back in their hearts. They nerfed it 3 times already and theyll be asking for another after this.
i think the weight's abilities plays a big part in a gun being good or not
Still think the heavy grenade launcher should just be ditched, and the cl40 should be reworked as basically a mini rpg for mediums to take down walls

This tier list is obviously made by someone who doesn’t play the game as much anymore. You need to play a lot to see what’s actually good and what’s not. The light sword if you play a lot with it it super broken. Just cuz u try a weapon for 3 games and not great with it doesn’t make it bad. Any person who mains sword and knows how to play it makes the weapon broken.

@@SoLunxr Ottr been outta the game too long. Comes back for S4 and thinks he knows everything when they missed essentially an entire season of play. I know this tier list video is ONLY their own opinion, but it is obvious that they are bias with some weapons vs others. It is clear he clearly dislikes some weapons and play styles and finds them "irrelevant" vs others and does not always seem to provide a neutral stance or opinion with each weapon. I bet those weapons listed that way he has very little play time on compared to the ones he favors and ranks higher. All in all, nothing wrong with the video. It is one mans opinion which should be taken with a grain of salt and not as "the law" :).

Idk why Embark can’t buff or nerf things correctly, but the recurve bows buff is hardly a buff at all. The weapon functions the exact same. We need a higher headshot multiplier

revolver suck. I'm saying it as revolver player, 98% of a time I'm running revolver so yes I'm pretty good with it, after couple of hundreds hours with this weapon in my hands, but overall it really lack this extra 1 dmg per bullet OR they should increase reload speed + remove this huge dmg falloff. I mean yeah u may say that 2 body shot for lights will be massive, but trust me when u r playing against skilled lights with dashes, land this 3rd shot might be impossible sometimes, cause you don't have lights movement and heavys hp, so light will just run away, hide in cover, regen hp, and come back while you're still not even start gaining ur hp back. landing headshots with this gun is pretty hard for most ppl, and surely enough there is no point to use it instead of pike, so saying that revolver gonna be OP after that buff while you have pike and akimbos in the game is worthless imo

no hate but this is a crazy crazy crazy (yes triple) tier list lol, seems like your weighing of the added sights is WAY too small. v9s shreds. m60 is probably tied with pike. oh not to forget your downplaying of melee is insane, like i go 20-3 with riot shield in ranked when i pick my battles correctly lol, insanely oppressive. maybe this tier list was really rushed but i suggest just playing more of the season
M60 is good, but I really think you understimate pike atm, cause pike is broken af
@@nekefirwonderful no. m60 with headshots have comparable TTKs with lower skill ceiling, and SEVENTY BULLETS. but either way pike is like the only thing correct on this list.
