  • I run through replacing the rear axle seals, bearings and locking collars on the Massey Ferguson 135 Multipower trekking tractor project.
    Hello Im Lance (aka Bundy Bear) and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advise to customers.
    Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
    We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you dont see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au and we will help where we can.
    I do try and help with technical advise at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

    Beauty, really like the chip fryer application, for some reason I can't help but smile watching that.

      G Day David, You are not on your own, I get a lot of comment on that over the years but it works so that is the main thing.

    G'day Lance what happened to you plans of using the induction hot plate you picked up about a year ago for heating the bearing & collar ?

      G day John, I found with the chip cooker I have much more control. The induction cook top would turn a bearing blue if you took your mind off the job. I sent a crownwheel bearing blue and had to throw it away so I am not too keen on using it now. I have far more control with this way.

    I can not thank you enough for this video! I have a MF 245 and there is oil coming into the brake drums. I figured it was a seal and pulled it apart to get a sense of what was what. Your video was so thorough, it has eased my mind a lot. I just need to order the parts.
    I do have a question, can you take the axle components off with out a press? I don't have one and really don't want to have to buy one.

      I have seen it done with long threaded bar and a jack like a loooong hydraulic puller and it worked ok.

    First! Hey lance, do you have any info on a MF 65 with the Continental G176 engine? I emailed you some pics and a question about the governor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Very good video ! Just a question : is it possible to use a Sparex sure-seal S.61512 on the assembly of the MF135. (This sure-seal is used for e.a.Tea20 and the rear axle parts seem the same). Thanks for your answer. Christian(from Belgium)

    You don't pack the bearings with grease before hand?

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  4 роки тому

      No because the grease would wash off in the oil, I grease them before assembly though.
