Hey, good one, that tip about the diff lock, thanks, and the ground speed gear, been waiting to see that, way simpler than I imagined.

G day David, Glad you like the vodeos, its not too complicated at all when you are shown how.

    Thanks a million times Lance.
Just got the IT shop manual, heard good and bad but answers some questions which should stop me from bothering you experts so much. Reading up on this it says:
NOTE: On models equipped with differential lock do not attempt to make the adjustment (end float via shims) by withdrawing RIGHT axle shaft, or sliding differential lock coupler will be lost.
However, as Lance says in this video, tie down the diff lock pedal prevents this happening !!! No b****dy mention in the manual of this important work around. Just suppose you don't know this fix how are you supposed to adjust the end float when the manual clearly states that the adjustment is needed with shims on both sides. Presume they mean that while you can draw the left axle assembly, on the right you have to remove the trumpet housing first and then the axle assy from the trumpet housing.
Pardon my ignorance but this is my first tractor restoration and without people like Lance I'd be up a certain creek without a paddle. Newbie rant over.
    Lloyd.

Thanks Lloyd, Just to check I pulled the right hand axle out without tying the diff lock and it came out easy but putting it back in was certainly do able with a bit of wriggling the shaft to line things up.

Hi lance is everything exactly the same except for the gear ratio between the multi power and the standard 135. Or are there other differences that one should know about if they where going to do a restoration? Sorry for all the questions I appreciate you explaining everything and taking the time to make these videos for all of us.

The gearbox is slightly different inside but the rest is all the same.

Yes the arm comes off the end of the shaft and it slides out wards.
