While waiting for Claret, I recommend grabbing a Legionary Spatha. It's a 2hd sword that gives your Swordsman the Brute's Relentless Charge effectively. It's super fun to chugga chugga around like a train. Might be hard to get one at a level you want, but it's handy
Well, I'll have to try one of these builds for myself. The original "meme fighter" build from EA is still working just fine, since I still use him as a bait for my Infantry archer and Assassin ranger, not DPS or debuffer. But these builds look brilliant. Keep it up.
I personally would love a quick guide on the cursed village, just got almost destroyed by it today with those crazy room battle. The lockpicking in the village screwed me up the most.
Hi Clydian, thanks for Your video. The explanations on how the specializations work help a lot in my playthroughs. That said, is it possible to make any fun/good 2hander swordsman tank build?
Utilizing the two handed sword that gives entrenched (I want to say it’s the alazar flamberge) will make you pretty tanky. I’d have to take a look though as I haven’t made a dedicated tank in a while. Let me get back to you later on today with a build for that :)
@@clydian that's the single target sword that give a stackable 5% damage reduction, isn't it? I think it's maxed at 30%-50%. Thanks! Look forward to it and more WT videos!
@@paranoumenon don’t use defensive stance, you’ll do better using bulwark and engaging that way. Especially if you get a protector with bulwark you can tank for days regardless of what sword you use.
@@clydianhi Clydian, thanks for the tips. This one is practically invincible on 1-on-1 (unless against enemy units that ignore guard or multi hit melee unit like zealots). Too bad, I had to choose between Riposte and Daring. In the end, Daring is my pick coz i can apply it on enemy units that engaged other companions. I also missed the signature kick. It isn't bad in the end. I can still have the swordsman attacking on each turn (and cast protection). Thanks a lot! Peace.
ty for the guides! would you find creating guides for unlocking the special classes (duelist, assasin etc) and where to get class specializations a worthwhile making video? including the fight in the arena as part of the guide would be awesome , ive been strugling to win these fights
Ey Hi, really appreciate your vids!!! Would you mind answer one question?? Some people recomend only to give points to critical hit, wiillpower and movement to all characters independently from which build or class they are since all characteres automatically increase their strengh, Dexterity and Constitution when they level up. Do you agree to this argument?? Which is your opinion?? Keep up the good work u are doing
Critical hit gives more returns on damage output than your main scaling stat as of right now up until around 70%. Some unit types end up getting over 100% crit through the use of backstab though. I tend to get willpower to 15 (even though it’s somewhat of a dead stat now) and pump movement up to 16-20 and then dump the rest into crit. Movement is honestly the best stat in the game until they nerf it, as positioning is king.
Thank you for the guides. Can I ask a question? Is Protector skill useful in later game for paty (2 brute, 2 sword, 3 berserker, 1 herald, 1 srategist, 1 hunter ) or better take more damage oriented specialisation? Planing one of my swordsman make "The Wall tank" from youre previos video (My PERSONAL Class Builds And Strategy).
The protector skill is still useful, but having a chance to make a new build that can tank while also basically solo clear arenas and entire armies was too good to pass up. For early game the protector tank will feel more useful, at level 12 this new version just seems better :)
Great guy, really thanks for the duelist. I'll get you the tank and the torturer. But I have a problem, it's the brenna arena to unlock the duelist specialization. I massacre the arena but once in front of the two bosses I am opened in two. Do you have a tactic?
Extremely disappointed in your presentation, you have utterly neglected the undisputed best build for the swordman, Fighter, Valorous Dual, Counter Attack, Master Opportunist, w/Tin Lucky Charm. This tells us all that you are not promoting the best builds. You are simply promoting hype for the game and not giving us solid advice. Again, this same analysis can be applied to you brute and warrior builds... Very disappointing!

Thanks my dude!
How do you get 3 star armor? Like what are the odds? I've made 3 star weapons, but my armor is always 2 stars with 3 slots. Any tips?
Just perfect forges and have the perks in the might and glory tree unlocked. From there it’s just luck.
What province to get the sword for flamewalker?
You can find those swords on wandering traders in any province but I’ve found them on inquisition paladins in Arthes as well!
how many oil type you can add to a weapon..?
You can add two oils per weapon at level 7 wisdom path.
i had the first build with 2handed sword. the tankiest dps
It’s pretty much best in slot for everything. Arguably the strongest build in the game.
What attributes do you recommend for the duelist build ?
I always like getting around 16-20 movement and 15 WP and then dumping the rest into crit.
