Awesome build, a little constructive criticism: turn your amperage up on your welder, if it's all the way up find a better power source, slow down a bit, take your time and feel what you're doing and pull and push that puddle and you'll get the hang of it, and remember, a grinder and sanding disks can perfect a mistake. I could see your progression tho and that's awesome.
And when you're painting, remember it's all about prep, the cleaner the steel the better, get you some good primer, self etching is more perfered towards aluminum but works just as great for steel, 3 or 4 light coats of your color, and go balls out on some clear to seal it up and make it last. After your last coat of clear, this is the absolute hardest part but trust me it is worth it, do not touch it for at least 2 days. If you could wait a week that would be even better. Spray cans DON'T HAVE HARDENER so letting your paint cure 100% is good for it.
Not saying you're not doing it right, you're doing an awesome job, I'm just sharing knowledge to maybe make your life a little less stressful. I'm OCD when it comes to fabrication I can't help it 😂

Thank you for the advice! The paint job on this one was crappy and turned out streaky. However, I have learned most of this the hard way with my other builds! This project was finished around summer 2018. Since then, I learned the whole painting process, I painted a bike, a scooter and took my car to a shop to have it painted. I have learned alot about paint work. I think in the future I will invest in a compressor and paint gun. I will start using 2k Clear in cans from now on. Still have lots more to perfect on a welder.
Also, I use rustoluem filler primer in a can. Do you think self-etching primer would be better?
I think you should check out my 79cc scoooter build part 2 too see my latest paint job.
And my "how to weld flux core" video for my latest welding job.
for an up to date view
      Thanks again!

You have fixed up one of the most rad simplest carts going. You could top it off though with a set of nerf bars with plastic bumpers on each side. It will save you on the track from being bumped off by another kart. Heat a piece of 4 inch ABS pipe with a propane torch and flatten it so it is oval shaped and make your nerfs so that when you add the plastic pipe bumper to the nerf it will be in line with the outside of the wheels. All doable on the cheap.

Keep it up 😁👍

It is awesome!only a few tips: the exhaust should be fixed in order to have less vibrations, when you weld you should strip the paint around the area you are welding so you have a good weld integrity, and lastly you should also paint the frame with a coat of primer before applying the red colour, the clear coat is also a good Idea after the red paint
