Go power sports is a really awesome company tbh they have great deals and are always helping youtubers out by sponsoring videos.
I'm building a kart, soon grandma will finish the project, I learned by watching your videos, thanks brother.🤙
Nice job on the transmission and lathe. I am encouraged to see a younger person doing something besides staring at a phone. Makes me think I may find someone to take over my shop when I am gone.
Dude,I really like the simplicity of design you have on this cart. No frills just straight forward simplicity. Got my wheels spinning on a buils vewry similar. Thanks for sharing. Great work!
Forgive the misspelled words .Make that Got my wheels spinning on a build very similar.
Congratulations on getting Go Power Sports as a sponsor and a one shade darker blue than your air cleaner would look great. Keep up the great work.
My friend- this is the most entertaining set of videos I have seen on youtube. Thank you for uploading - by the way if you tried driving this on UK roads they would lock you up and throw away the key!!!!!!!
Dude you are the man at building things! I gotta say it’s pretty cool that you built your own gear system on your go kart. I really wanted gears on mine but Have no clue how to do something like that
Dude, you are truly an AWESOME fabricator! I really enjoy watching you apply your skills to your projects. Keep up the good work.
That transmission system is GENIUS! Wish I had thought about that when building my first kart. A1 job, brother
It made a big difference in performance and looks, man. Good job!!
About fucking time GoPowerSports sponsored you!! From now on we can expect much crazier things from you
That is amazing. Now that's a epic 2 speed. Love it!!. I was thinking a burnt orange with black rims. That would look amazing
Dude, I'm pretty stoked on you being sponsored man. Hard work pays off.
congrats on sponsorship, and Props to RBG!
go blue
congratulations on your sponsor. I thought the kart was going to ride you there for a sec!
Get a "Go Power Sports" sock for your air filter. The amount of "small particulates" it catches is amazing. And your filter lasts longer.
I've loved watching this design evolve as you went along. Good job! BTW, you didn't need to raise the engine. The torque convertor mount has different holes in it so you can rotate it to a different position.
Congratulations on your sponsorship...been watching you build cool shit out of junk for a couple of years now...gotta say you're definitely sick...I like it! Paint it metallic black with contrasting stripes...copper or bronze wheels...glad Greg (Redbeard) helped you out...I feel that anybody who can build a transmission deserves some recognition...keep on keepin on brother...da wookiee...
A neutral detent with a lockout, park, would help, a reverse gear could be added to your trans as well!
Very good results. Can you do be a big one and cut the front axle bolts down, Please....... BTW brand and type of welder are you using?
I am impressed, you have made a very functional transmission. I hope to see more go-kart creations.
OK, use the spring to keep the shifter in a place that you want. As you might have thought about, machine some type of snake that a rod will need to go over but then latch into.
Interesting concept on the two speed transmission. Looks familiar to the usual setup on outboard engines and the foot section to work in forward and reverse using a clutch dog. Nice.
Congrats on the sponsorship and thank you redbeard
I agree on blue myself. Next u need either build a shelf or find a way to hang the blue kart above the green one in ur shop shed.
Congrats on the sponsorship bro 👍 big ups to red beard for hooking you up too can't wait for a collab
cool project, the kart looks like a blast and I like the locking shift mechanism =)
Love that you built it first with more common parts and then show how to upgrade it later with the performance parts - the lathe is awesome how did you build it
You are doing a super cool job on that. I just hope you trim off the extra long bolts and paint it.
Nice upgrade. I'm planning the frame for a go kart. I can't wait to weld it up with my everlast welder so that I can get to the powerplant.
Way to go man. Glad to hear you're sponsored. You deserve it. Can't wait to see what you can do with their help. You should get together with Redbeard and Cars and Cameras for a build off or something.
Sweet build!... I suggest moving the air filter though tire might kick up some stuff on it.
4:11 Did we just witness a Welding Gods blessing? :P Grats on the sponsor!
For locking it in gear, how about a center-console auto tranny lever? Maybe just the stick with button. Or the whole unit, but it'd have to lock in gear and you wouldn't need the whole throw so just the stick w/button might be better. You could rig it up no problem. Have a local wrecking yard?
Nice to see you getting recognized for your work! Congrats on the new sponsor!!
What do you use for cameras? You mentioned you have new ones, and you have multiple ones. Thanks!
Thumbs up for crediting Red Beard
Those 2 stickers added 5HP each, that's how you got to 50mph.
XD, nice kart man, wish i had a lathe to cut down metal, that transmission is pretty smart
Your shifter...use a strong spring directly under the center of travel and the spring will hold the position of the shifter in high and low. As long as the shifter travels in an arc, this will work.
ShadowTech why does it need neutral? The torque converter has neutral when it idles.
From the “engine running while going backward” clips it seems the the the new torque converter may be helping with the shifting. Is this true or is high speed shifting still a problem?
Always wanted to build a go cart like this but with 2 snowmobile tracks on back and more HP. Snowmobiles are a pain, ever get one in soft snow and get it stuck good? Talk about back breaking BS to dig out holy crap. "Snow buggy" sounds better to me. More stable and less likely to bog down in deep snow due to more track surface area to float over the snow better.
Blue is good that hammered paint finish would look especially good maybe on the floor pan as well when you put one in so a stick don't come through it and kill you
Nice one on the sponsor!!! Its really nice to be sponsored and financial help
Now this sounds like a remote control car with a driver!!!!Love the great work yu put up with
Congratulations on getting sponsored from go powersports.com !!!!!!!!!!!
Curious as to why you raised the engine instead of just adjust the torque converter another bolt hole. Maybe I'm missing something...
Congratulations on the sponsorship! Going to be awesome for your channel. The channel is great
I believe my shop moto fits your shop as well. ( I have done so much, with so little, for so long. now I can do anything, with nothing.. ) Great build
awesome mate once painted it ll look real good
Maybe you can use bicycle braking pads instead of metal pins to engage the gears. Nice work.
Nice that you have a sponsor ! You deserved it so much !
I think blue would look super cool man! :D
That kart is looking sharp!
Carbide is awesome and all, but they usually require a ton of speed to perform at their best. Ever tried using HSS instead?
Mill 0.030 off the head port the intake, 28# valve springs and see the real potential of that hemi! Nice build man!
If you put a grease pencil line on the exhaust tube heat it up while the engine is running where it stops melting cut it off and you will tune the exhaust.
Heck yes buddy glad to see your sponsered by go powersports and yes ive watched Greg since he started doing go karts and mini bikes
Can you shift on the fly, or do you have to select the speed before you start?
Did you change the emulsion tube on top of the jet ?
RedBeard had used a racing clutch, talk to them it may be something of interest to aid in shifting your cart.
Awesome man I am so happy that you excepted a sponsorship. You were making awesome videos before the sponsorship and you'll keep on making more! And I like the blue maybe like a ford blue I think that looks really cool.
Good ol greg. Put some fenders on the rear wheels and a floor pan on it. I like blue.
This is a really cool build.
Awesome! Great Effort! Cool Go-Kart!
Congrats on your sponsor! Keep up the good videos.
would like to see you rebuild that transmission with 2 electric clutches
Congratulations on the sponsorship. Don't be fake like Redbeard keep it real show your mistakes and repeat yourself it's awesome. keep it real, Chris love your videos.
Wat? Greg shows/talks about stuff he messes up all the time..
Who?
Bob Vance greg aka fatbeardgarage
You said fatbeardgarage. Lol
might wana get a proper box cuter or a knife for the next pakage the hacksaw looket like it was a little precarius to open with. and would it not have been easier to just put the tourq converter at a highter angel? not to mention safer? I thought that was what all the extra mounting holes was for on it.
Why didn't you test drive it on camera? At least I always want to see how your creations are performing. Anyway great video and you should paint it blue!
Extremely cool spinouts start at 12:30.
That thing is awesome now.can not wait to see a running video.great job.congrats on new sponsor.
Arthur Breault 3.
4 neo magnets at the back controll arm to sap together for 1st and 2nd would proably feel nice in the hand
If it doesn't take much to hold it in gear how about a simple detent on the linkage?
Go power sports hooked you up bro, congrats.
looking goodd!!!
try the neon yellow color!
i us it on my drift trick whit blue handbar and all small staf and is amazing
full circle rainbow created by high voltage and poisonous gasses at 4:10dangerously beautiful...
Love you Chanel. I really like the cool projects you do
Looks like your first gear chain could lose a link or two. But otherwise, nice build! Very impressed!
you should go with black frame, blue rims and blue steering wheel!
How about the idea of two torque converters in series for more gearing?
metallitech I feel like that would either be really cool if it worked or they could end up just "fighting" each other. Either way I want to see that.
metallitech I don't see how they could be fighting each other. Great idea man.
question is that a homemade lathe and is it possible if you could do a video on it?
What keeps your sprockets from sliding around on the jackshaft when not engaged
use a spring lock on your shifter. you squeeze it with your hand when you shift and it pulls a pin out of a hole then a spring pushes the pin back in the second hole when you let go. get it?
Mudguards next or just a new filter every time you go for a drive?
need an old sign for a floor pan and a shield for the filter the long bolts on the front hubs are just asking to find a tree cut or wider tires .then just clear over the rust
hey i have bee watching you allong with most of the others doing builds you have great talents i have watched you learn as you goi you jumped way foward showing unbeleaveable talent in youre builds i build and i have learned somewhat like you if i may i would like to say i think you will be a great they may all be looking up to you some day includeing me and i allready do c keep up the good work dont let anybody break youre spirt you came a dam long way in a short time and that 2 speed trans blows everybodys well most everybodys works away in youre case hard work pays off cant wait to see you on top super job keep it up
who wants a build off with red beard rather b welding and cars and cameras
😉😡
Maluco, isso aí ficou muito bom. Vem no Brasil fazer um aqui conosco. Ficou muito bom mesmo. Parabéns. Vc consegue me mandar o projeto? Vou tentar fazer um parecido
Abraços, e fica com Deus
SELLOUT!!
But congrats on the sponsor. Hopefully this means some cool stuffs?
I wouldn't want that type of air filter behind the tire. Perfect place to catch water and mud.
I was thinking the same. I’d maybe make some piping to route it away from there.
Fender would help.....
Nathan Kennedy you’d be losing power
How mutch horsepower have it?
Sorry for my bad english, because I‘m from germany.
blue would look good, thats sweet!
Nice sounds
Im glad your sponsored. You deserve it dude
Jamie James *you're
The Crafting Rider yo're Write,
Dru Johnson dude, nice.
SAPPHIRE BLUE METAL FLAKE IS A COOL COLOR TO PUT ON YOUR KART. I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE.
just wondering but did you make your lathe?
Wow well done !!! Finally got a sponsor!!!
Just like a pretty small really car .... :D What a fun it mustbe to drive this thing...
Congrat on the sponsership
Congrats on the sponsorship!
