Oh rightttt. I just "beat" the game. I was pretty confused and disappointed with the ending, clicked 'Quit' and assumed I'd accidentally started a new game, then closed the game completely. Did not realise it was a fake ending until I came here
yeah, a single thermite allows Isa to instantly get up and begin her shooting animation. this speedrun is actually just so old that information wasn't known yet. I think this run was performed within a month of the game's release
I walk there during the cutscene by opening the door as I click "Yes" on the insert cassette prompt. you can barely see some of the visual door prompts as I walk through the hallway with two enemies and hit the door at the end before gaining control in FPS cutscene.
it may not be considered a glitch but it's definitely unintended and a big skip! that part of the safe just doesn't properly cover the key card so you only have to click in that spot
I'm not a speedrunner, but I did finish my playthrough of the game and was curious of what was possible in this game. Honestly enough, the thing that caught me the most off guard was the fact that there's a shove. Had no idea that was even a thing. Wasn't game breaking by any means but would have been nice to know as I don't think it's stated anywhere in the game.
@@Lite_zed oh so that's what happened on my first playthrough! i legit had that happen as i was trying to solve the puzzle and was checking if there were any clues i'm missing and i picked it up like that XD
not dumb at all, they're randomized but they're within a certain range of frequencies. let's say tree code is between like 150-200 and sword code is 200+, so you can always assume the signal that's coming in around there is the code you're looking for. quick radio being enabled in options let's us seek the frequency out before going into the menu
@@Sergei_Ivanovich_Mosin it's a circle point for under 6 hours, so you guaranteed to get memory. there are actually very few things that give leave points and all of them take time
Good run, but not sure why you collected the tarot cards in the last level, when you started it all you had to do was rotate the 5 peices of the moon puzzle in position and once you get the developers kit for the photo you developed you get the ring for the moon puzzle once you go through that door with digital card you got from the photo you developed.
Not sure if it’s how it was before 1.2 but the ring only drops in the moon room after you grab all tarot cards, the photo was only for getting the sun card, so it just happens that it was the last card in this route
Elster wants to lie down with Ariana so much that she learned how to run the whole cycle in an hour. respect this kind of love
Finished Survival difficulty in 11 hours and 30 mins and this lad just breezed through it during his lunch break. Legend
Haha, same

A bit unfortunate.
the game forced you to continue and you alt f4ed 😭
i am scared shitless when playing this game
I know I’m a little but late but the Chimera (caged mesh of corrupted replikas) can be instantly defeated with a singular thermite stick.
U sure? Because she can't with one flare gun shot, and I thought its basically the same thing

Heck yeah, this is the first speedrun I am seeing of this game. I love it! :)
@12:30 how did you teleport from the vcr room to the sword safe room like that?

@@Lite_zed you absolute king! Thats genius
25:55 is that a glitch pickup of the admin card?

Is the thermite before the mynah boss missing in survival so you can't do the quick kill?
no it's still there! this run is actually so "old" now that we just hadn't learned about the MNHR quick kill yet haha
might be a dumb question but how do you get the radio frequencies without grabbing the paper if they're randomized each run?

Cool love this game
Too smoove wit it
didnt know if you dont have a weapon you can just say no to them and push them away
you can do the same with a weapon in hand, too!
How to push?
for mouse and keyboard, you just click mouse 1 when you're close enough to an enemy. usually it's easier when you're running or walking towards them
i was hoped to cure falke and she will help me in my way somehow.
but she just sleep. and attack. and died
P rank
I thought this would have gotten the Leave ending. 🤔
You get it if you spend a long time exploring the game. :)
@@lolagagginw812lol7 According to the wiki less than 6 hours is a point for Leave, over 12 hours is a point for Promise.

this is the default ending, for the other 3 you have to do specific things to unlock them
Nice!!
