I agree, we need to see BSD for reference. It may still be the best in some aspects of performance. Sonax gets ignored by the American market for some reason now.
I’m testing 23 International Sprays if someone wants to see a similar test with more products. I’m 10 weeks in. Check my channel. Thx Jamie for testing these! Tip: when they get weak, hit them with a water spot remover- they’ll wake up.
Agreed makes me wonder if the bottle I got from clean garage last month was the old formula because when applying it to vehicles with previous protection it does great but when I tried applying it to a vehicle that had no prior protection for a wash clay and seal it was not slick enough and had to switch to YUM Cars Ceramic which is 1 of my favorites
@@RCdetails203 i cant speak for the slickness of the new one, but i have V1 and it’s not slick at all. I’d absolutely not use it as a clay lubricant… it’s just extremely hydrophobic
@@Standard_MT no I wasn’t using it as a clay lube I was doing wash, clay and then seal in separate steps, I used rinseless and iron remover for clay lube then rinsed vehicle and tried using the sealant as a drying aid while still Wet and it was grabby
Jimbo is new and there’s already formula change when I see this it makes me curious is it because he rushed his product out or was there a lack of testing. I’m 50/50 whether or not trying his products.
Another good one Jamie. Try this on for size, I looked up Jimbos on Amazon Canada just now. The Prime price is ,wait for it is $ 156.79 CDN. Dollars. 🇨🇦 Holly Cow
Pirouette is personally the type of sealant I prefer. It's tacky and gives that "lotus effect" to really sheet water quickly. It's also solvent based so it flashes nicely and probably less picky in terms of bonding to a less-than-perfect surface.
Good spread of all great sprays! I've used 4 of the 6, waiting on my order from ADS to put Ceramic Spray Sealant in the mix, have yet to order Jimbos. I'd love to see a half car application of the top 2 after the square's tests 😊
Awesome video can't wait to see the outcome. Lately ADS, DIY and Ethos have been getting all my money. They are the new heavy hitters in the industry IMO. Also great job on KIR yesterday it was a very fun show.
I used to use it as a drying aid. IMO, it's very slick after drying and has ok gloss. Used it every 2 weeks, so I never tested its longevity. Never got streaks or hazing, which was the best part.
I applied Resist to freshly prepped paint. Two days later, it rained and the product was literally washed off the paint. Not joking. I've been detailing for 18 years and have never seen anything like it from a product that claims some sort of durability. Ethos spray wax that claims a year washed off in the rain, as well. What am I supposed to think?
Jamie I run a mobile detailing business, I’m currently using P&S Defender or Bead Maker. Does this video suggest that these products aren’t contenders among these?
BM is in a completely different category of product. It’s been proven to be more of a very slick quick detail spray than for protection. These are ceramic sprays that last many many months. BM doesn’t even last one.
Jamie, I gotta ask: have you noticed paint depth /clear coat drops with the one-steps you’ve done on the truck? I have a garage queen that I want to keep for a VERY long time/ preserve the clear coat, BUT I would love to apply a new coating to it…
I’ve personally used BC3 twice. Have let it cure for 24hrs, and I love it. Makes my Black truck pop hard, and beads/sheets very well. My wife came into the garage and said “damn babe! Okay.” I’m really impressed with Apex Details line of products.
Excited to see how this goes. A few others I think you should give a shot if you haven’t already are Griots Ceramic Speed Shine, and Meguiars Ceramic Detailer. They aren’t ones I use much anymore, but they honestly surprise me everytime I decide to grab a bottle while I’m in the auto parts store. They are super easy to use and the protection is pretty nuts for a store bought detail spray. Work great diluted as well.
Have you tried menzerna ceramic spray? Got a bottle the other day easy to apply and slick like I’ve never seen…car doesn’t get driven much so won’t really tell the longevity
Great selection of products. A lot of these videos just keep washing the samples and see which one protects the longest. A lot of us are interested is GLOSS and appearance. I wonder if somehow you can include this in your testing. I would rather have a sealant that looks the best and I have to apply 2x or more a year, than one that doesn't make the paint pop and lasts more than a year.
Quite a list and thank you for that. When doing a maintenance spray later, do you have to stick to one brand or can you apply a different brand on top of another?
Thanks for including DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss
8 seconds in and see Griots 3 in 1. It's a true sleeper. Now onto the video.
Everybody scared to throw sonax bsd on test panels. 15 yr old product will be laughing at these new water based products that last 20 days
I agree, we need to see BSD for reference. It may still be the best in some aspects of performance. Sonax gets ignored by the American market for some reason now.
Can’t wait for this one. A lot will probably want to see hybrid solutions ceramic spray in this test
Can we find something that don’t collect so much dust .??

Thank you for being a REAL car detailer. I trust your content.
I know you testing hydrophobics over time but it would also be informative if you could comment on jetting and gloss.
Cool video & testing feedback! Wish you could’ve included Titan, Think you could next time? 👍🏼
Can't wait to see, I have no doubt they will all do very well.
Is the newer version of Ceramic spray on the site?

Dang, I wish ADS put V2 or something on the label… seems like some pretty important changes with no advertisement about it
I agree, most companies need to do this. They could be lying to us and giving us the old formula.

That’s insane! $115.23 USD for a sealant. There’s no way anyone is buying that
US price is still $35 that's to much for just a ceramic spray.
I am missing Fireball pirouette. That is probably the best spray sealant. Best Regards
Can’t beat DIY ceramic gloss!!
Absolutely a dream to use. Give the TW Pure Shine a try too.
Or a layer of Koch Chemie Protector Wax followed by .... .
I think Fireball Pirouette would be a good contender too.
Yessir I agree

No P&S Defender? Was going to say System X Renew but that's only available to authorized installers. :)
Griots 3 in 1 all day for durability
I also love that Griot's made it in. They are local to me. I really like a lot of their stuff.
Great Video! I enjoyed seeing Griots. I still use it, including Bead it up, Flex Wax or Seal n Shine!
Here we goooo
I definitely just read that in Mario’s voice 🤦♂️😂
Bc 3 can also be used as a spray and rinse product
Griots 3 in 1 all day
This will be an interesting follow... all good products in your line up there...
Sheeesh been waiting on this video 😂
Excited for this one..... Some heavy hitters.
Try YUM Cars Ceramic Spray Sealant if you haven’t it’s 1 of my favorites for sure extremely pleasant to work with
Awesome choices bro! Brilliant video!
Would love for defender to be included as well if possible off camera. Besides the application curious how the durability hangs with the big boys.
I'm surprised Lithium didn't make the test 👀 excited to see this one all the way through!

Good stuff can’t wait to see the results.
Hi mate you want to try mirch bead king from Australia I find it amazing
Is Technicians Choice ceramic detail spray still part of the discussion? Or has that been surpassed by all the new stuff?
That’s a very short term sealant 👍
I used to use it as a drying aid. IMO, it's very slick after drying and has ok gloss. Used it every 2 weeks, so I never tested its longevity. Never got streaks or hazing, which was the best part.
Ironically I have and use all three of the ones in the front line. BC3 is more of a topper for BC1 and BC7
Nice video! I’m interested to see which one stands out the most. All pretty solid choices right there!

why did Stjarnagloss Parla not make it onto the list? (he claims it's water-based, but not that it's ceramic...)
